Also, a solid laser apparatus has the phase shift circuit (9g) provided in its output control circuit (8,9,10) for advancing the phase of a signal in the vicinity of the relaxation oscillating frequency thereof. Moreover, a solid laser apparatus has a pseudo notch filter (9h), which is arranged for the gain to have a local minimum at the relaxation oscillating frequency of the solid laser apparatus, provided in the output control circuit (8,9,10) so that the peak of the gain transmission characteristic of the nonlinear optical device (4) or of a combination of the nonlinear optical device (4) and the microchip laser crystal (3) is offset.

    摘要: An optical semiconductor device and optical semiconductor integrated circuit are provided by combining, on a semiconductor substrate, materials having different refractive indices and different temperature dependence of the refractive indices. In particular, it becomes possible to control the temperature dependence of the oscillation wavelength with a propagating region having a material and/or structure whose temperature dependence of the refractive index is different from that of a gain region of the semiconductor laser. In addition, they can be configured to have a plurality of interfaces formed along the waveguide direction of the optical waveguide so that the light reflected off the first interface is weakened by the light reflected from the remaining interfaces. Also, they can be configured with the interfaces inclined to the propagating direction so that the waveguide loss due to the reflection and refraction between the optical waveguides whose refractive indices differ from each other can be reduced.

    摘要: Image projection apparatus wherein, a focusing lens is controlled when a shutter is operated so that a contrast signal, obtained when a luminance signal from a camera signal processing circuit is supplied to an auto focusing detection circuit, may become maximum. A laser diode is driven to generate laser beams that are condensed into parallel laser beams by a condenser. These parallel laser beams are applied to a hologram plate and thereby diffracted. The diffracted laser beams interfere with each other, to produce a hologram image with sufficient contrast. Therefore, satisfactory focusing can be made in an auto focus mode of the contrast detection system or in a manual focus mode.

A diffraction grating is used as the tuning element. A cylindrical lens is used to reduce alignment tolerances and thereby increase manufacturability.

    摘要: The present invention relates to an image projection apparatus, a projection image pattern, a laser drive apparatus and a camera apparatus fit for use with an electronic still camera for example. In the present invention, when a microcomputer 8 detects that a shutter release 9 is depressed, a focusing lens 3 is controlled so that a contrast signal obtained when a luminance signal from a camera signal processing circuit 6 is supplied to an auto focusing detection circuit 7 may become maximum. A control signal from the microcomputer 8 is supplied to a laser driver 13, so that a laser diode 14 is driven to generate light of laser beams only while this control signal is supplied to the laser driver. The light of laser beams thus generated is further condensed into light of parallel laser beams by a condenser 15. These parallel laser beams are applied to a hologram plate 16 and thereby diffracted. The laser beams thus diffracted are caused to interfere with each other, whereby a hologram reproduced image 17 is reproduced. This makes it possible to project a hologram reproduced image with sufficient contrast onto an object by small power consumption. Therefore, satisfactory focusing can be made in an auto focus mode of the contrast detection system or in a manual focus mode. At the same time, this apparatus can really be incorporated, for example, into a small electronic still camera with ease.
