摘要: Multilevel microfluidic devices include a control line that can simultaneously actuate valves for both sample and reagent lines. Microfluidic devices are configured to contain a first reagent in a first chamber and a second reagent in a second chamber, where either or both of the first and second reagents are contained at a desired or selected pressure. Operation of a microfluidic device includes transmitting second reagent from the second chamber to the first chamber, for mixing or contact with the first reagent. Microfluidic device features such as channels, valves, chambers, can be at least partially contained, embedded, or formed by or within one or more layers or levels of an elastomeric block.

摘要: Gravity and flow operated diverter valves are disclosed for diverting liquid flow from one source to either of two output destinations, the valves including a housing defining an inlet opening through a base wall, a first outlet opening through a first upper wall and a second outlet opening through a second upper wall. A valve member is movably suspended within the housing by a first end when no liquid is flowing into the inlet opening. The valve member is pivotable in a first direction to seal the first outlet opening and pivotable in a second direction to seal the second outlet opening. On successive liquid flows into the inlet opening the valve member automatically and alternatingly seals the first outlet opening and the second outlet opening. Related dishwasher designs are also disclosed.

The housing is operable in a configuration with the base wall arranged vertically beneath the first and second upper walls. A valve member has a first end, a second end, and a central portion, the valve member being movably suspended within the housing by the first end when no liquid is flowing into the inlet opening. The valve member is pivotable in a first direction to seal the first outlet opening and pivotable in a second direction to seal the second outlet opening. The housing interior and the valve member are cooperatively configured so that on successive liquid flows into the inlet opening the valve member automatically and alternatingly seals the first outlet opening and the second outlet opening. Related dishwasher designs are also disclosed.

摘要: A priority type dividing valve includes a housing, a spool slidably situated inside the housing and having a damper orifice, and a damper chamber formed between the spool and the housing for providing a resistance to the movement of the spool. The damper orifice is changeable and includes a small hole and notches, by which the damping effect is changed. At the time of a steering operation, the notches do not operate to increase the damping effect to thereby provide the sufficient holding force to suppress the vibration. When the spool is moved, the notches are actuated to reduce the damping effect to reduce the dragging resistance. Thus, the quick response is obtained.

摘要: A relay controlling valve structure for twin-tap faucet, including a valve seat, a valve stem and a pushing block. The valve seat is a hollow sleeve-like member made of plastic material and formed with outer thread on upper portion. A water-sealing ring is disposed around a middle portion of the valve seat. An annular groove is formed between the water-sealing ring and the lower end of the valve seat. Two opposite water inlets are formed on the wall of the upper portion of the annular groove. A hexagonal socket is formed at upper end of the valve seat. A stem hole is formed below the hexagonal socket. The upper portion of the stem hole has s conic face and the lower portion of the stem hole is enlarged. Several stopper ribs are disposed on the wall of the enlarged lower portion at intervals. Each stopper rib has a shorter guiding rib extending toward the center for guiding the valve stem to linearly move up and down. The lower end of the enlarged lower portion is further enlarged into a conic shape. A stem head is formed at the upper end of the valve stem. A reverse conic water-sealing washer is inserted at the adjoining portion between the stem body and the stem head. The lower end of the stem body is formed with an insertion groove. The pushing block is a conic body made of rubber material with a plane head and formed with a central fitting hole. The bottom of the pushing block is formed with an annular check groove.

摘要: A dispensing apparatus for dispensing a chemical product mixed with water is connected to a water supply through a line pressure diverter which relieves pressure in downstream of the water supply when the dispensing apparatus is not activated. Pressure is diverted by diverting the flow of water from a water supply to a second outlet port on the diverter. The line pressure diverter permits a dispensing apparatus to be installed on conventional water supply faucets without substantial modification thereto, and without causing damage to any pre-existing backflow prevention devices installed on the water supply.
