    摘要： There is provided a clearer device located above a series of draft rolls with a predetermined number of plumbs and secured inside a cover plate rotatable and removable by means of a pivot formed in part of two side plates. This clearer device is characterized in that endless clearer members stretch between intermittently driven clearer rolls and guide members permitting said clearer members to abut front top rolls fixedly secured. A pressure member is springingly held back of said clearer members to force downward said clearer members and permit said top rolls or a top apron to come into contact with said clearer members. The clearer rolls are intermittently driven by swinging a rocking lever pivoted on the shafts of said clearer rolls via an oscillation lever and rotating a ratchet gear fixed on said roll shafts by means of engaging tooth at said rocking lever. A comb is located above the course of movement of said clearer members to face against said clearer members and is secured on the bottom of an "L" shaped lateral bar the central portion of which is held on a support member with an adjustable inclination.

    摘要： An improved clearer for the drawing rolls, namely the top rolls, of spinning machines and like equipment. The clearer comprises a main frame or supporting structure for a clearing belt. The frame is pivoted adjacent the rear end of the apparatus. Carried by a portion of the frame are spring members which respectively press the belt into frictional driving engagement with a serrated roller forming part of the roll system and into clearing contact with one of the forward rollers which is to be cleared. The relationship of the parts is such that the belt also engages the upper surface of at least one other roller which is forwardly mounted relative to the roller just mentioned, to clear the same. Also, the clearer is provided with idler rolls for the belt which are located lower than the top of the cross member of the frame thus to reduce the overall vertical dimensions of the device and to get more "wrap" on the forward top roll, resulting in better clearing.

    摘要： A hand held lightweight apparatus for cleaning lint and fiber waste from the clearer rolls of spinning frames without removing such rolls from the spinning frame includes a driven, monofilament nylon flail which revolves at high speed within a suction head coupled to a vacuum producing apparatus. The nylon cord extends through an opening of the suction head upon each revolution of the driven flail device and the whipping action tears the accumulated lint and waste from the clearer rolls, while sightly roughening the roll surfaces, and the waste is directed to a collection point.
