摘要： An eye glass holder is provided which is attachable to an article of fabric, for supporting and securing a pair of eye glasses. The eye glass holder comprises a pin assembly engageable to the fabric. The pin assembly includes a substantially planar member having an outer eye glass frame striking surface and an inner fabric abutting surface. The pin assembly further includes a ring member extending from the outer striking surface and defining an eye glass frame receiving aperture therebetween. The pin assembly further includes a pin extending normally form the inner fabric abutting surface, through the abutting fabric. A clutch assembly is provided which is engageable to the pin. The clutch assembly includes a clutch for receiving and engaging the pin, and the clutch facing secured to the clutch and extending circumferentially thereabout.

摘要： A holder for eyeglasses and the like is provided. The holder is designed to be attached to articles of clothing, clothing accessories, automobile visors, or other areas whereby it is available for conveniently receiving and retaining a pair of eyeglasses. The eyeglass holder desirably can be rotated for awkward areas of attachment, or convenient areas of placement such as a purse strap. Notably, the holder can be pressed open by the wearer for ease of eyeglass temple bar insertion or removal. The holder can desirably have a releasable cover for a wearer to have a variety of choices of holder aesthetics. The holder broadly comprises of a clip or a pin, pivot, and hook arrangement; a cylindrical connection or a slit and guide connection; and a frontal elongate plate member pivotally mounted onto a base member; and, optionally, a removable cover.

摘要： An emergency lorgnette making it possible for a user having defective eyesight to see reasonably well regardless of the nature of the defect. The lorgnette is molded of transparent synthetic plastic material to define a strip having formed at one end thereof a handle and along its length in alignment with the upper edge of the strip, first and second pairs of lenses in staggered relation, whereby the left eye lenses of the two pairs which are adjacent each other are spaced from the right eye lenses of the two pairs which are adjacent each other. Indented in the lower edge of the strip are first and second notches, each of which is adapted to receive the bridge of the user's nose when the lorgnette is held by its handle adjacent the eyes of the user. The first notch is placed midway between the left and right eye lenses of the first pair, the second notch being placed midway between the left and right eye lenses of the second pair. The lenses of the first pair have a high diopter and those of the second pair, a relatively low diopter. Hence when using the lorgnette, the user selects a notch aligning that pair of lenses with his eyes which affords the best optical accommodation to the reading matter or object being viewed.

摘要： An improved holder to be securely and removably attached to a garment, and for holding a pair of eyeglasses, by securely and removably attaching to the temple bars of the eyeglasses. The holder includes a body formed of resilient material that effectively forms a substantially U-shaped center body with two adjoining transverse substantially U-shaped clips, comprising four relatively planar and concentric legs, wherein two of the legs extend in transverse and opposite substantially U-shaped directions from adjacent ends of one of the two legs that form the substantially U-shaped center body to form the two adjoining clips. The substantially U-shaped center body eliminates the need for additional lining material that prior inventions require to accommodate a wide range of temple bars having varying shapes and sizes.

摘要： A swizzle stick for stirring mixed drinks, the stick being convertible to a lensless ophthalmic device, making it possible for a typical individual having defective sight to see clearly regardless of the nature of the defect. The swizzle stick includes a strip section having a profile defining a pair of eyepieces joined to a nose piece and a handle extending from one of the eye pieces. Extending from the other eyepiece is a swizzle shank, the junction therebelow being scored so that the shank may be broken off to convert the stick to an ophthalmic device. Each eyepiece has a pattern of pin holes therein adapted to project a clear image of the object viewed by the related eye of the user of the device.

摘要： An improved frame for eyeglasses includes a pair of interconnected rims, each of which is configured to surround and support an eyeglass lens and at least one clasp superimposed over at least about 1/3 of the outer surface of one of the rims. The clasp is configured and dimensioned to correspond to the configuration and width of the portion of the outer surface of the rim over which it is superimposed. The clasp is also generally spaced above this portion of the rim outer surface to permit a portion of a user's garment to be inserted between the clasp and the rim. The clasp serves to releasably secure the eyeglass frame to a user's garment inserted between the rim and the clasp.

摘要： This is a holder for glass or plastic lenses of varying sizes and shapes used to facilitate their handling. A lens is removably held within a flexible loop with an inner groove which receives the edge of the lens. The ends of the loop are fastened to each other and encased in a tubular handle which serves as a means for handling the lens readily without damaging it. A sliding sleeve enables one to lock a lens into the holder or remove it easily when necessary.
