Data lines positioned at the left of the center-positioned common electrode connector are disposed respectively at the left of corresponding pixels positioned at the left of the center-common electrode connector, whereas data lines positioned at the right of the center-common electrode connector are disposed respectively at the right of corresponding pixels positioned at the right of the center-positioned common electrode connector in order to provide a space required to dispose the center-positioned common electrode connector. Accordingly, all pixels in pixel area are arranged to have a symmetrical figure with respect to the center-common electrode connector.

Then, a dummy source bus line and a dummy source pad are formed prior to forming a source bus line and a source pad so as to eliminate line disconnection due to the cracks thereof and to thereby reduce the defects of the active panel and the increase production yield of the manufacturing process.

    摘要: A liquid crystal display (LCD) device has improved adhesion between a tape carrier package and a liquid crystal panel and the LCD device includes an organic insulating layer for increasing the aperture ratio. The LCD includes electrode pads provided on a substrate, semiconductor patterns for preventing etching of the portions of the gate insulating layer that are in contact with the electrode pads, and transparent electrodes for protecting the electrode pads and in contact with the semiconductor patterns. The LCD eliminates the organic protective layer positioned around the pads, thereby strengthening the adhesion between the liquid crystal panel and the TCP.

Consequently, the size and weight of the mounting substrates used to provide the driver ICs and lines connected to the same can be reduced, thereby making it possible to provide a light and inexpensive liquid crystal display having a small frame edge portion.

    摘要: An LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) module of the present invention forms, when received in a frame by way of example, gaps corresponding to the dimension of extensions between the inner walls of the frame and the edges of glass sheets constituting an LCD panel. The gaps prevent the walls of the inside of the frame from contacting the edges of the glass sheets and thereby protect the glass sheets from damage even when a shock or an impact acts on the frame. Further, because the corners of the glass sheets do not contact the corners of the inside of the frame, it is not necessary to provide the corners of the inside of the frame with a conventional special configuration. The frame is therefore easy to design and fabricate.
