摘要: A method of stabilizing a suspended scaffolding system against a main stable structure by using the intentional displacement of the centre of gravity of the suspended scaffold off its equilibrium position and preventing the return of the centre of gravity to the equilibrium free-hanging state. The displacement of the centre of gravity is to be achieved by movement of the counterweight of the suspended scaffolding. The centre of gravity is prevented from returning to the equilibrium position by using adjustable bumpers between the suspended scaffolding system and the main stable structure. A restoring gravity force induced by the displacement of the centre of gravity off the equilibrium position acts as a pushing force to provide firm stabilization of the suspended scaffolding against the main stable structure.

摘要: A connector comprises first and second parts having first and second plates respectively. The plates can abut to cover a panel opening and have slots in their abutting edges. The second part has a portion which extends in the second plate slot and which extends beyond the second plate edge a distance defining a neck. An arcuate portion extends from an end of the neck to receive the cable and has a threaded terminal end portion. In a first orientation of the second part, the neck extends vertically below the first plate to allow ease of manipulation of the second part to receive the cable between the arcuate portion and the panel. In a second orientation thereof, the neck extends horizontally within the first plate slot when the second part is in a closed position with the terminal end portion received in an aperture in the first plate.

摘要: A suspended scaffolding connector includes a central spine comprising an anchor connector at a top end thereof, a bottom lug at a bottom end thereof, and a top lug situated between the anchor connector and bottom lug. The connector further includes at least one top truss connector attached to the top lug and at least one bottom truss connector attached to the bottom lug, where the top and bottom truss connectors are configured and spaced for structural connection to top and bottom connectors of a scaffolding truss. The connector also includes top and bottom truss ledger connectors attached to the spine and situated between the top and bottom lugs and adapted for connection to a scaffolding ledger, and the anchor connector is adapted for connection to a suspension anchor and to support the scaffolding truss through the top and bottom truss connectors.
