摘要: A pulse wave detecting device includes a sensor section and a control unit. The sensor section is rotatable about a first axis and is rotatable about a second axis. The control unit determines a rotation angle about the second axis and a rotation angle about the first axis in a state where the sensor section is pressed against the body surface with a prescribed pressing force. After determining the optimal roll angle and the optimal pitch angle, the control unit reduces the pressing force to a reset value smaller than the prescribed pressing force and larger than zero, increases the pressing force from this state, detects a pulse wave based on pressure signals detected by pressure detecting elements during the increase, and calculates vital information based on the detected pulse wave.

摘要: A flow rate control valve includes a bobbin and a plunger. On an inner circumferential surface of the bobbin, multiple protruding regions that extend in a direction parallel in an axial direction to the plunger, and a plurality of recessed grooves that form flow paths for a fluid when valve is open are provided side by side alternatingly in a circumferential direction. The multiple recessed grooves include a first recessed groove, second recessed groove, and third recessed groove that are arranged side by side sequentially in the circumferential direction. An interval in the circumferential direction between the first recessed groove and second recessed groove and an interval in the circumferential direction between the second recessed groove and third recessed groove are the same. Surfaces of the multiple protruding regions formed on the inner circumferential surface of the bobbin can be arranged at positions closer to those of one perfect circle.

摘要: A blood pressure and pulse measurement device includes a cuff including a first air bladder, a pressure sensor, a pressing member, a pulse wave sensor, and an operation unit. When measurement of the blood pressure is instructed by the operation unit, the first air bladder of the cuff is inflated to increase inner pressure to a sufficient level such that the blood pressure of the patient can be measured by the pressure sensor and then deflated. When measurement of the blood pressure is not instructed by the operation unit, air of the first air bladder of the cuff is released such that the measurement location of the patient is not substantially pressed by the first air bladder, and the measurement location of the patient is pressed by the pressing member with sufficient pressure such that pulse of the patient can be detected by the pulse wave sensor.
