Abstract:
A rocker arm (1) or finger lever for a valve drive of an internal combustion engine is provided in which a guide bushing (7) is press-fit in a receptacle hole (2). The guide bushing (7) has a bore (9) in which an outer part (4) of a hydraulic play compensation component (3) is guided in a sliding manner. The guide bushing (7) has a radially inwardly directed projection (10) which holds a shoulder formed by a diameter reduction of the outer part (4) from behind or meshes in a groove of the outer part (4). This arrangement allows the hydraulic play compensation component (3) to be secured from loss using the press-fit guide bushing (7).
Abstract:
A finger lever for a valve drive of an internal combustion engine which finger lever is contacted in a central region by a control cam and cooperates at one end with a gas exchange valve in the opening direction while being pivoted at another end by a bore on a shaft for pivoting relative to a cylinder head of an internal combustion engine by means projecting radially beyond a peripheral surface of a shaft in the region of a surrounding cam follower.
Abstract:
A chart recorder is disclosed which has n (n=1, 2, 3, . . . ) measuring channels, one for each of n measurement signals to be recorded, a printing device (5) which produces n isochromatic dot sequences (8) as curves each associated with one of the n measurement signals on a recording medium (4) moving past it, and 1 to n writing devices (9) for 1 to n different colors which overwrite or underwrite one or more of the dot sequences (8), at least in sections, with a continuous line (10) of another one of the n colors which follows the measurement signal of the respective channel, or a color-printing device (15) for 1 to n different colors which marks selected dots of each curve with dots (18) of another one of the n colors. Thus, the n dot sequences (8) are clearly distinguishable one from the other, particularly at curve intersections, and additional functions, such as alarm markings, can be realized.
Abstract:
A control device for a valve arranged in a fuel injection line of an internal combustion engine and closable to build up of injection pressure at an injection nozzle wherein a play adjusting element is arranged between a valve body of the valve and a drive element, characterized in that the adjusting element (14) is provided with two pistons (15, 22) guided in a housing (13), the first pistion (15) is acted upon by the drive element and the second pistion(22) acts upon the valve body, and the housing (13) accommodates between the pistons (15, 22) an oil-containing pressure chamber (23) which is sealed against the valve (1, 2) and accommodates a pressure spring (24) acting upon the pistions (15, 22).
Abstract:
A substance exchange system especially for humidifying gases has at least one bundle of hollow fibers wherein a first flow space surrounds the outside of the hollow fibers and a second flow space is formed by the inner spaces of the hollow fibers with the exchange between the flow spaces being dependent on the exchange characteristic values of the hollow fibers. This substance exchange system is improved with respect to a more flexible determination of exchange quantities which are mutually independent. According to the invention, at least two sub-regions having hollow fibers of different exchange characteristic values are provided.
Abstract:
A process for producing a hollow fiber mass transfer module with a number of hollow fibers sealed into a housing is improved according to the invention with regard to the development of a desirable flow space in the surface area of the hollow fibers by the fact that a spacing material is applied to the outsides of the hollow fibers before their insertion into the housing (2). The thickness of the material is chosen to conform to the desired separation of the hollow fibers. The hollow fibers are arranged substantially parallel and inserted as a bundle into the housing and are fixed with the grout. The spacing material can have a layered or particulate and granular form. A hollow fiber mass transfer module produced by the process pursuant to the invention has hollow fibers suitably arranged at uniform mutual spacings.
Abstract:
An hydraulic valve clearance compensation element comprising a housing in which a pressure piston is guided and a pressure space is disposed behind the pressure piston, an oil inlet chamber with an oil inlet opening to supply oil to the pressure space, characterized in that the pressure space (13) and guide means (5) for the pressure piston (6,7) is formed by the base (1), the oil inlet chamber (23) is provided between the base (1) and a housing sleeve (18) which is arranged concentrically at the piston side of the base (1) and the oil inlet opening (26) is provided on the housing sleeve (18).
Abstract:
In crimping pliers for connecting contact elements to electrical conductors, which crimping pliers consist of a grip, a retaining plate, which is fixed to the latter and has a lateral recess accommodating the contact elements, on the upper side of which recess cutouts are made which interact with the crimping stamps which project at the upper side from a workplate displaceably guided in the retaining plate, on which workplate a hand lever is pivoted, the tightening movement of which displaces the workplate relative to the retaining plate and moves the crimping stamps into the open cutouts, a housing is fixed to the workplate in order to automatically feed a sheet-metal strip, which supports contact elements at intervals and has mating holes, and a linkage mechanism is pivoted on the hand lever. Moreover, a feed piece, which can be displaced along a longitudinal groove against the force of a feed spring and carries a lowerable dog for engaging in one of the mating holes, and a locking device, which retains the feed piece in the tensioned position of the feed spring and can be triggered by a linkage mechanism and a triggering unit, are provided in the housing. At the same time, the feed piece, during the tightening movement of the hand lever, is brought into its end position and locked in this position. During the return movement of the hand lever, the locking device and the feed piece are then released.
Abstract:
A consumer operated frying machine receives food in open-top container, transfers the food to a frying station for cooking in hot oil, and returns the cooked food to its original container for consumption. Cooking oil is continuously heated, filtered and recirculated through the frying station for improved cooking. A dumping mechanism provides a means to drain excess oil from the cooked food and oscillates to loosen food products which may adhere to the machine during cooking. A sealing lip and air replenishment and filtration system combine to prevent undesirable cooking odors from entering the surrounding environment.
