    Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a main body, a base, a holder and a connecting rod. The main body has a bottom surface, a top surface, a lower surface, a paper outlet and a paper inlet. The base has a bottom board being adjacent to the paper outlet, at least one vertical board being connected to the bottom board and being pivoted on the main body, and a first hinge being located at the bottom board. The holder has a beam, at least one support arm being connected to the beam, and a second hinge being located at the beam. The tip portion is higher than the vertical board. The connecting rod has opposite end portions being pivoted on the first hinge and the second hinge respectively. As described above, the occupying area is further reduced in an unused status.

    Abstract: A thick document conveying device includes a paper pickup mechanism. The paper pickup mechanism has a pick roller base, a pick roller axle, a pick roller, a switching assembly, a first universal coupling, a driving mechanism, a second universal coupling, a bearing and a gear. The pick roller axle and the pick roller are located in the pick roller base. The switching assembly is located under the pick roller base. The second universal coupling is connected to the driving mechanism. The bearing is connected to the driving mechanism. The gear is connected to the bearing.     Abstract: A portable scanner includes a housing, a transmitting path, a scanning unit and a transmission module. The transmitting path longitudinally penetrates through two opposite sides of the housing. One side of the transmitting path forms a first channel, and the other side of the transmitting path forms a second channel. The scanning unit is arranged in the transmitting path and partially projects into the first channel.     Abstract: A paper separation structure includes: an actuating unit being selectable to generate a forward and reverse actuating torque (T); a one-way actuator connected to said actuating unit and being able to break the connection of said actuating unit while said actuating unit generates a reverse actuating torque (T); a breaking unit having a threshold of breaking torque (TL1), and said braking torque (TL1) set lower than said actuating torque (T); and a separating roller connected to said one-way actuator and said braking unit to receive said actuating torque (T) and said braking torque (TL1). With the combination of components mentioned above, the paper separation structure of the present invention has a plurality of torque thresholds for paper separation and can switch between active and passive separation modes according to requirements.
