摘要: Systems and methods for collaborative gaming are described herein. In some embodiments, a system comprises a computer system. The computer system comprises at least one processor and a memory coupled to the at least one processor. The memory stores program instructions are executable by the at least one processor to cause the computer system to perform tasks. The tasks include enabling a first user, via a first gaming device, to initiate a gaming session of a gaming application using an account of the first user, enabling a second user, via a second gaming device distinct from the first gaming device, to join the initiated gaming session; and enabling the second user, via the second gaming device, to engage in game-play in the initiated gaming session on behalf of the first user. The second user engages in the game-play using the account of the first user.

摘要: Controlled-environment facility resident pattern electronic communication detection systems and methods may employ a controlled-environment facility secure communication platform, an investigative data aggregation and analysis system, and/or the like. Controlled-environment facility individual resident outgoing electronic communication velocity is monitored. The individual resident outgoing electronic communication velocity may be the number of electronic communications placed by a controlled-environment facility resident, to telephone numbers and/or electronic communication addresses over a period of time. A sharp increase in outgoing electronic communication velocity for a particular controlled-environment facility resident over a relatively short period of time may be recognized and controlled-environment facility personnel of a controlled-environment facility in which the particular controlled-environment facility resident resides may be alerted that the particular resident is at risk of imminent danger, such as suicide, in response to recognition of the sharp increase in outgoing electronic communication velocity for the particular resident over the relatively short period of time.

摘要: Systems and methods, which can provide for an indication of a privileged communication, are provided. A method, according to an embodiment, uses at least one processor of a communication server device. Addressee information of one or more addressee(s) of a communication, sender information of a sender of the communication, or a combination thereof is received. The sender information, the addressee information, or a combination thereof is compared to registered user information maintained in a database. The registered user information corresponds to registered users to or from whom privileged communications may be sent or received. An indication that the communication is privileged is provided when the sender information, the addressee information, or the combination thereof corresponds to respective registered user information maintained in the database.

摘要: Controlled-environment facility resident contact tools for intelligent controlled-environment facility resident communication and/or media device interfaces may be configured to present a contact list of non-residents of the controlled-environment facility for a respective resident of the controlled-environment facility, to the respective resident. The interface may also present the resident an interface to input name and contact information for the contacts. Additionally or alternatively, the system may auto-populate the contact list for at least one resident. Messages, such as nudges for the non-resident to take an action with respect to the resident, such as make a deposit to a trust account of the resident, set-up a video visitation with the resident, or the like, are transmitted to the contacts, in the name of the respective resident.

摘要: A visitation system provides visitation sessions between a resident of a controlled-environment facility and a nonresident, where the nonresident utilizes a personal wireless devices that connects to a wireless access point that may be accessible from a designated visitation area of the facility. A connection request from a personal wireless device of a nonresident is evaluated to determine the personal wireless device is authorized to interface with the visitation system, and whether the nonresident is authorized to communicate with the resident. If authorized, a visitation session between the resident and the nonresident is initiated with the nonresident participating via the personal wireless device. The visitation system may respond to a visitation session request from a registered personal wireless device by sending an access code to the personal wireless device. By confirming the access code, the nonresident may initiate the requested visitation session that terminates upon expiration of the access code.

摘要: Systems and methods for detecting changes in physiological indicators in communications data of participants of a communication and tagging those changes are described. According to an embodiment, a method uses an analytics module operating on at least one processor. Data indicative of a communication between participants is received. A physiological indicator of at least one of the participants is detected by analyzing the data. A change in the physiological indicator is determined in the data. A location of the data where the change in the physiological indicator occurred in the data is tagged. The tagging includes storing a tag indicating the location of the data where the change in physiological indicator occurred in memory.

摘要: Images of residents of a controlled-environment facility may be captured at the time of intake into the facility. A feature detection process may be performed on each image to verify that corporeal facial features are present in each resident image and a copy of such an image of each resident may be saved. A request to initiate an electronic visitation session may be received and an image of a user is captured. A feature detection process is performed on the captured image to verify that images of features of a corporeal human face are present in the captured image, determining whether an image of a corporeal human face is present in the captured image. The electronic visitation session may then be connected in response to a determination that an image of a corporeal human face is present. Further, a facial recognition process may also be performed on the captured image.

摘要: Systems and methods insert a modulated signal into audio of a controlled-environment facility resident's side of a call, such as by a controlled-environment communication apparatus, or the like. The same or a different controlled-environment communication apparatus, or the like, may detect the same and/or another modulated signal inserted into the audio of the same and/or another controlled-environment facility resident's side of the call in the audio of an other party's side of the call. The same or a different controlled-environment communication apparatus, or the like, may determine if more than one modulated signal is present in the other call party's side of the call and alert an authority that more than one controlled-environment facility resident is taking part in the call.
