    摘要: An anti-staining additive comprising a higher unsaturated aliphatic acid ester-modified organosilicon compound that is produced by carrying out an addition reaction between (a) a higher unsaturated aliphatic acid ester that contains more than one aliphatically unsaturated bond in each molecule  and (b) an organosilicon compounds that contains at least 1 silicon-bonded hydrogen atom in each molecule with the aliphatically unsaturated bonds in component (a) present in molar excess over the silicon-bonded hydrogen in component (b). The additive can be used at 0.01 to 50 weight percent in a polyorganosiloxane composition that cures at room temperature by a condensation reaction.

    摘要: There is disclosed a novel silicone-grafted, alicyclic epoxy-functional vinyl polymer prepared by copolymerizing(A) 1 to 80 weight % of a silicone macromonomer which bears a vinyl-polymerizable group at one molecular chain terminal;(B) 5 to 90 weight % of a vinyl-polymerizable, alicyclic epoxy-functional monomer; and(C) 0.01 to 94 weight % of a vinyl-polymerizable non-silicone monomer that is free of alicyclic epoxy functionality.The alicyclic epoxy functionality imparts improved reactivity and the grafted polymer according to the invention provides cured films which exhibit good release and water-repellency.

    摘要: A highly efficient method for preparing a diphenylsiloxane-dimethylsiloxane copolymer having a narrow molecular weight distribution, said method comprising:(I) polymerizing(A) a mixture of hexamethylcyclotrisiloxane and hexaphenylcyclotrisiloxane, using as polymerization initiator(B) a lithium compound having the formula ##STR1## in which R independently denotes a monovalent hydrocarbon radical, X and X' are selected from the group consisting of hydrogen and lithium, with the proviso that one of X and X' must be lithium, and m is an integer having a value of at least 1, optionally, in the presence of(C) a molecular-weight regulator selected from the group consisting of water and a compound having the formula ##STR2## in which R has its previously defined meaning and p is an integer having a value of at least 1, said polymerization taking place in the presence of both(D) a nitrile compound and(E) an active hydrogen-free polar solvent; and(II) terminating the polymerization reaction product from step (I) with a neutralizing agent selected from the group consisting of an acid and an organohalosilane.
