摘要： A test pattern is recorded in a margin of recording paper. A camera of a test pattern imaging device takes the image of the test pattern. A test pattern analyzer calculates deviation in feeding distance of the recording paper, and in movement of an inkjet head based on image data. The test pattern analyzer also detects a faulty nozzle. The feeding distance of the recording paper and the carrying distance of the inkjet head are corrected based on deviation, so that print imperfection caused thereby is prevented. The faulty nozzle is subjected to correction processes, such as a nozzle wiping process, an ink discharge process, an ink suction process and the like.

摘要： A droplet ejecting apparatus for discharging liquid from nozzles of pressure chambers by supplying liquid from a liquid tank to said pressure chambers and then contracting said pressure chambers by means of piezoelectric elements, comprising: pressure chamber plates forming said pressure chambers, and to which vibration plates forming walls of said pressure chambers are formed integrally; and a common liquid chamber formed in the liquid tank and connected to respective liquid supply ports of the respective pressure chambers through respective flow passages connected to said respective liquid supply ports; wherein the liquid tank and the pressure chamber plates are mutually superimposed in a layered structure, in positions where the flow passages coincide with the liquid supply ports of the pressure chambers.

摘要： An ink jet printer has a carriage equipped with a recording head. The carriage is disposed downstream in a feeding direction of a recording medium. The carriage has an optical sensor for measuring dirt on a supply roller. When the supply roller is dirty, a cleaning operation is started to rotate the supply roller as being pressed onto a separation pad. The dirt on the supply roller is measured with the optical sensor, and the cleaning operation lasts until the dirt is removed from the supply roller.

摘要： Objects of the present invention are to facilitate filling out by hand an electronic paper and to realize digitization of contents with which the electronic paper is filled out by hand with a simple structure. A read image is obtained by optically reading a reading-object of the electronic paper.
