摘要: A retainer for an electronic apparatus includes a housing member in the form of a frame, an antenna holding member, and rib elements for assuring a distance between a main printed board and a sub-printed board. The housing member, antenna holding member and rib elements are formed as one unit of a resin material. The housing member accommodates and holds a liquid crystal display unit, an EL lamp and so forth. The antenna holding member supports an inner side portion of a loop antenna. The rib elements hold the sub-printed board to assure the distance between the main printed board and the sub-printed board. By forming the retainer as one unit of a resin material, the number and cost of parts can be reduced, and moreover assembly and disassembly are facilitated and the number of working steps can be reduced.

摘要: A negative electrode material capable of absorbing and desorbing lithium is comprised of a mixture of coke and graphite. The amount of graphite in the mixture is near to that which induces percolation transition. Preferably, the amount of graphite in the mixture is 2 to 37 wt % relative to the total amount of the coke and graphite. The coke may be prepared by heating raw coke from oil or coal at 500 to 900.degree. C. The coke may be 0.06 or more in the atomic ratio of hydrogen to carbon and 0.003 or more in the atomic ratio of oxygen to carbon. The graphite may be 0.5 .mu.m to 30 .mu.m in a mean particle size. Lithium secondary batteries comprising the negative electrodes have a large discharge capacity.

摘要: A volume control device mounting mechanism for on-vehicle equipment comprising: a variable resistor having a shaft; a knob mounted to an end of the shaft; a chassis for securing the shaft; a insertion hole formed on the chassis, the shaft being inserted through the hole; and slits formed on the chassis around the insertion hole, whereby mechanical strength of the chassis around the shaft insertion hole is slightly decreased from that of other portion of the chassis. The slits provided on the chassis prevent the volume control knob and the shaft from destruction due to large impact force, thereby the variable resistor as well as the knob and the shaft can be reused and human body of cardriver can be protected from injury.

摘要: A power steering device includes an oil-hydraulic pump, an electric motor to drive the pump, an inverter, a control valve, a power cylinder to produce a steering assist, and a control unit to control the drive signal of the inverter. The control valve includes a pump port supplied with oil from the pump, a first and second cylinder ports connected to first and second cylinder chambers on sides of the piston, and a discharge port. Communication between the first cylinder port and the pump port and communication between the second cylinder port and the discharge port, and communication between the first cylinder port and the discharge port and communication between the second cylinder port and the pump port are established in steered status in the other direction. Communication among the pump port and first and second cylinder ports, and isolation of the discharge port from the pump port and first and second cylinder ports are established when the control valve is in neutral status.

摘要: A control method for an image forming system capable of preventing reduction of the ability of the system even if a shift transportation function becomes an abnormal condition. An image forming apparatus forms an image on a sheet. A first sheet process apparatus has a first moving unit receiving the sheet on which the image is formed and moving the sheet in a width direction. In a determination step, it is determined whether a second sheet process apparatus having a second moving unit moving the sheet in the width direction is connected to an upstream side of the first sheet process apparatus. In a detection step, it is detected an abnormal condition of the first moving unit. In a sheet movement step, the second moving unit moves the sheet in the width direction if an abnormal condition is detected and the second sheet process apparatus is connected.
