摘要: An equipment maintenance and monitoring system and method is disclosed for, e.g., efficiently performing servicing and parts replacement in such equipment and thereby reducing service calls. In particular, the equipment maintenance and monitoring system and method preemptively prevents certain equipment failures by performing servicing and/or parts replacement on such equipment according to various predictive reliability indexes for measuring the reliability or unlikeliness of failing such equipment and parts therein. The equipment maintenance and monitoring system and method is further directed to efficiently performing servicing and parts replacement for printers, copiers, facsimile machines, scanners, optical character recognition scanners, plotters, and other devices as disclosed herein.

摘要: Baling apparatus comprising at least two first and second mutually opposed and inclined conveyors (100, 120), each conveyor having a first end and a second end, the second ends being arranged to be spaced apart to form a material entry region (300) into which material to be baled is, in use, deposited, the first ends being relatively closely adjacent to each other, and the apparatus being arranged such that material deposited into the entry region moves toward a pinch region where the two conveyors are close to one another and where the deposited material is rolled and compressed into a bale, the conveyors being driven in opposite directions to roll and compact the material between them, and the conveyors being mutually displaceable and resiliently biased towards one another.

摘要: An apparatus for snuffing a candle or other element in a container. A base fits the container and includes shutter(s) for covering an opening. A shutter operator may include an arm preventing the shutter(s) from covering the opening when the arm is locked, and causing the shutter(s) to cover the opening when the arm unlocked. The shutter operator includes a closer for unlocking the arm, and may include a closing facilitator such as a spring for moving the arm to close the shutters. A timer may time a selectable period. An activation plate may respond to expiration of the period by activating the closer to unlock the arm. The apparatus may include timer marks. A time indicator may move relative to the marks to indicate time remaining and/or expired. The apparatus may include an opener for opening shutter(s) regardless of the selected period and/or without setting an expiration period.

摘要: Connecting a caller with a plurality of destinations using a destination list received from a caller or a designated user. Attempts are made to connect the caller with each of the destinations in the stored destination list, with each attempt including a connectability query to determine whether either the caller or the destination is connectable. Thereafter, the other party is called and offered a connection attempt to the first party. If the second party accepts, a call is made to the first party. If the first party is indeed connectable and answers the call, a connection is established between the two parties. Once the destination list is stored, attempts to connect the caller with each destination can be separately initiated or paused. Furthermore, the stored destination list can be edited even after connection attempts have been initiated.

摘要: A method of delivering electrical therapy to a patient by a medical device includes activating the medical device and performing a first analysis of a first set of data signals sensed by the medical device. If the first analysis shows the first set of data signals meets a first criterion, then charging of an energy delivery circuit is commenced circuit upon completion of the first analysis. A second analysis of a second set of data signals from the patient is performed, and if the second analysis determines that the second set of data signals meet a second criterion, the therapy is delivered. The steps of performing the first analysis and performing the second analysis may be begun at substantially the same time. The step of charging may overlap in time with the step of performing a second analysis. The medical device may be an external defibrillator and the therapy may be a defibrillating shock.

摘要: The invention relates to a process for preparing a dry film resist by forming a photocurable resin composition onto a support film with a thickness of 1 to 50 μm and optionally laminate a protective film onto the photocursable composition layer to obtain a dry film resist; whereby the photocurable resin is formed from a homogeneous mixture comprising (a) from 20-90 wt % of an alkaline soluble binder oligomer or polymer; (b) from 5 to 60 wt % of one or more photopolymerizable monomers which are compatible with the oligomers and polymers of component (a); (c) from 0.01 to 20% by weight of one or more photoinitiators; (d) from 0 to 20% by weight of additives and/or assistants; and (e) from 0.1 to 10% by weight of a leuco triphenylmethane dye of the formula (I), wherein R1 is a residue selected from (II), R2 is C1-C12 alkyl or phenyl which may be mono-, di- or tri-substituted by C1-C6 alkyl, trifluoromethyl, C1-6 alkoxy, C1-6 alkylthio, halogen and nitro; R3 is hydrogen or C1-C12 alkyl; R4 to R9 independently of one another are hydrogen or C1-C12 alkyl; X is O, S, NH or N—C1-C12-alkyl; (a) to (e) being 100% by weight. The above composition is useful to avoid unfavourable colour generation during the heat lamination.
