Abstract: In various embodiments, the gaming system enables a player to select one or more playing cards from a plurality of playing cards, wherein different playing cards include or are otherwise associated with one or more different symbols. The gaming system then determines if any matches occur amongst the plurality of symbols of a plurality of playing cards (including at least the player's selected playing card(s)). Following such a determination, the gaming system determines and provides zero, one or more awards based on one or more of: (i) which, if any, matching symbols occurred amongst the plurality of symbols of the plurality of playing cards, and (ii) a quantity of symbol matches which occurred amongst the plurality of symbols of the plurality of playing cards.

Abstract: Various embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to a gaming system and method providing plays of a game until outcomes associated with one characteristic outnumber outcomes associated with another characteristic by a designated quantity. In operation of one embodiment, the gaming system initiates a gaming session associated with a game. Each of a plurality of different potential outcomes of a play of the game is associated with at least one of a plurality of different characteristics. The gaming system provides plays of the game until a total quantity the outcomes of the plays of the game associated with one of the characteristics outnumber a total quantity of the outcomes of the plays of the game associated with another one of the characteristics by a designated quantity.

Abstract: In various embodiments, the gaming system of the present disclosure is configured to operate a card game associated with a plurality of cards. For a play of the card game, the gaming system receives a wager from a player, determines a plurality of player cards from the plurality of cards, displays the player cards face up, determines a plurality of dealer cards from the plurality of cards, and displays at least one of the dealer cards face up. The gaming system determines an outcome of the play by comparing the player and the dealer cards. If the outcome is a designated outcome, the gaming system adds the received wager to a side pot. If a side pot reset condition is met, the gaming system resets the side pot to an initial value. If a side pot payout condition is met, the gaming system provides the side pot to the player.
