Abstract: A display device in an embodiment according to the present invention includes a substrate, a plurality of wirings above the insulation surface, an interlayer insulation layer covering the plurality of wirings, a light emitting element above the interlayer insulation layer, a first inorganic insulation layer covering the light emitting element, a first detection electrode extending in a first direction above the first inorganic insulation layer, an organic insulation layer above the first inorganic insulation layer covering the first detection electrode, a second detection electrode extending in a second direction intersecting the first direction above the organic insulation layer, a second inorganic insulation layer above the organic insulation layer covering the second detection electrode, a first connection wiring electrically connecting the first detection electrode and one of the plurality of wirings, and a second connection wiring electrically connecting the second detection electrode and another one of the plurality of wirings.

Abstract: Disclosed is a display device capable of achieving a high definition imaging without depending on micronization of display cells. The display device includes: a display panel in which display cells capable of being independently driven are two-dimensionally arranged; and a drive circuit that decomposes an original image that includes plural pixels into plural sub-sampling images that include the pixels which are respectively intermittent in a row direction and a column direction, and sequentially displays the plural sub-sampling images on the display panel. The drive circuit drives a display cell group including plural display cells that are two-dimensionally arranged to be adjacent to each other, corresponding to the respective pixels. The display cell groups respectively corresponding to two arbitrary sub-sampling images are overlapped and are disposed to be mutually shifted.

Abstract: An organic EL display device includes an inorganic insulating film including a contact part as an opening where a contact electrode made of a conductive film is exposed, a TFT circuit layer provided on the inorganic insulating film and including a circuit including a thin film transistor, an organic EL element layer provided on the TFT circuit layer and including an organic EL element whose light emission is controlled by the circuit, and a sealing layer covering the organic EL element layer and made of an inorganic insulating material.
