    摘要: A child safe cutter for use by children in carving pulpy round fruits such as pumpkins. The cutter is capable of clearing particulate from a cut being formed in the fruit to prevent jamming and sticking of said cutter caused by the compression of the pulp about the blade. The cutter includes a handle for gripping and an elongated blade mounted thereon. The blade extends away from the handle to define a tip and has at least one edge, and two opposing sides defining a thickness. The blade has a trough of gradually increasing width and depth formed along at least one of its two opposing sides to facilitate the removal of pulp and particulate matter so the blade may move freely in the fruit when cutting. The tip has a hook formed thereon extending from an edge of the blade and curving toward the blade's centerline. A plurality of cutting teeth are positioned transversely along at least a portion of the one or more edges of the blade in an area between the handle and the tip. Each of the cutting teeth are provided with at least one cutting edge which extends slightly beyond the thickness of the blade. The cutting teeth are alternately angularly disposed relative to each other for enhanced cutting.

In addition to a space provided for receiving the vacuum interrupter, chambers are formed by wall sections, which are provided for receiving mechanical and electrical components of a pole unit. In particular, these electrical components are a loop-shaped, flexible strip conductor, a lever arrangement, contact springs and current transformers. Tensioning bolts which penetrate all the pole units connect the pole units to a pole block. The invention is suitable for use in vacuum power switches, in particular for low operating voltages.

    摘要: A rotor, especially for rotary wing aircraft, has a rotor hub (1) with oner more torsionally stiff rotor hub arms (1.1) projecting radially outwardly. A rotor blade (2) having a blade root (2.1), a blade wing section (2.3), and a torsionally flexible blade neck (2.2) is attached by bolts (3) to each rotor hub arm (1.1). A torsionally rigid blade angle control sleeve (5) extends without contact along each blade neck (2.2) and is rigidly connected at its radially outer end to the blade wing section (2.3) and is movably connected at the radially inner end to the blade root (2.1). In order to isolate the blade control from any blade flapping movements, and to reduce the distance between the flapping hinge point and the rotor hub (1), the rotor hub arm (1.1) is flat in a direction perpendicular to the blade rotation plane and is more flexible to blade flapping movements than the blade neck (2.2) is. The blade root (2.1) is in the form of a yoke or fork for attachment to the rotor hub arm (1.1), whereby the two shanks or prongs (2.1.1) of the yoke or fork form the base for the movable support of the blade control sleeve (5).

    摘要: A large surface structural component, such as a rotor blade for a windmillr a blade root for a windmill rotor, includes a hollow core (6) of foam material supporting a shell (8, 11) of fiber reinforced synthetic material. Positive templates in the form of disks (5) are inserted into the core (6). These templates are preferably spaced from each other along the length of the structural component and have a shape which defines the cross-sectional contour of the finished component. Thus, initially foam sections having a shape convenient for their production and these templates are assembled on a rotatable arbor (2) which is then rotated in a machining operation such as cutting and/or grinding on a lathe type machine. The shape of these templates (5) provides a guide for the machining operation which is thus substantially facilitated while simultaneously permitting the use of foam cores having initially plane surfaces.

    摘要: A window-guiding and sealing assembly for use particularly in a door of a passenger-type automotive vehicle having a window frame comprises a guide member directly attached to the window along a substantially vertical edge thereof and projecting into the interior of the vehicle, this guide member being slidably mounted in a vertical guide rail on the vehicle body. A hollow substantially oval sealing strip is integrally formed with a holder having a resilient clip for forming a snap-lock engagement with a flange and a recess along the members of the window frame, the holder having a guide surface on a horizontal portion for facilitating the engagement of an upper part of the window pane and a horizontal section of the sealing strip upon a closing of the window assembly. The holder is further provided along its entire length with an inwardly facing shoulder for engaging another hollow sealing strip attached to the door frame. The sealing strip on the window frame has a lip along its top or horizontal section for bridging the gap between the upper member of the window frame and the door frame.
