摘要： A storage apparatus includes a plurality of first storage mediums in which data is redundantly stored and a controller. The controller includes a formatting section which performs formatting in each of the plurality of first storage mediums, a detection section which detects a failure that has occurred in the plurality of first storage mediums, a control section which makes the formatting section stop the formatting at the time of the detection of the failure by the detection section and which rebuilds the data stored in the plurality of first storage mediums in which the failure has occurred in a second storage medium other than the plurality of first storage mediums, and a rebuild processing section which rebuilds the data stored in the plurality of first storage mediums in the second storage medium in accordance with instructions from the control section.

摘要： A storage control apparatus manages a plurality of storage devices which belong to an RLU such that data is made redundant between different storage devices. If a first storage device fails, a rebuild controller executes a rebuild process to store the same data as recorded in the first storage device in a spare storage device. When the rebuild controller executing the rebuild process has failed in reading out data from a second storage device, a data recovery controller restarts the first storage device, and reads out data to be stored in the spare storage device from the restarted first storage device.

摘要： An apparatus is provided to control an angle of a light axis of light from headlights mounted on a vehicle. In the apparatus, images of a field of view in front of the vehicle are captured, and the captured images are used to detect taillights of a preceding vehicle. A illumination target position is set by using, as a positional reference, a position of the detected taillights in the captured images, and the angle of the light axis so that the light axis is directed to the illumination target position. The command is provided to an angle changing device, where the provided command depends on the angle calculated. The angle changing device changes the direction of the light axis of the light at an angle commanded by the command.

摘要： A control circuit of an image reader having at least one light source includes: a light source control portion that controls ON and OFF of the light source by performing current switching for adjusting a value of a current supplied to the light source; a black reference data creating portion that creates black reference data used for shading correction under control of the light source control portion; an image reading portion that reads image data under control of the light source control portion; and a shading correction portion that performs shading correction of the image data using the black reference data. The black reference data creating portion adds a noise, which is equivalent to a noise added to the image data by the current switching, to the black reference data, and the shading correction portion removes the noise added to the image data by performing the shading correction.

摘要： To provide a mounting apparatus for uniting a semiconductor wafer with a ring frame, the wafer having an adhesive sheet stuck on one surface thereof. In the mounting apparatus, a portion of the adhesive sheet is preliminarily peeled off through a preliminary peeling means, the wafer is disposed inside the ring frame after a preliminarily peeled portion is formed, and a mounting tape is stuck to the ring frame and the wafer through a sticking means. The mounted wafer is fully peeled off by holding the preliminarily peeled portion.
