    摘要: A composition of matter comprising: (a) 30 to 70 weight percent inclusive of a low molecular weight ethylene resin made using a chromium catalyst system said resin having a density of at least 0.955 grams per cubic centimeter, a melt index from 25 to 400 grams per 10 minutes, and a heterogeneity index between 2 and 35 inclusive; and (b) 30 to 70 weight percent inclusive of a high molecular weight ethylene copolymer resin made using a titanium catalyst system said resin having a density not greater than 0.955 grams per cubic centimeter, a high load melt index between 0.1 and 50 grams per 10 minutes inclusive, and a heterogeneity index between 2 and 10 inclusive; wherein said composition of matter has a melt index greater than 0.05 grams per 10 minutes.

    摘要: A catalyst composition comprising (a) a first metallocene complex represented by the general formula: where M1 is Ti, Zr or Hf, X1 and X2 are each independently F, Cl, Br, I, methyl, benzyl, phenyl, H, BH4, a hydrocarbyloxide group having up to 20 carbon atoms, a hydrocarbylamino group having up to 20 carbon atoms, a trihydrocarbylsilyl group having up to 20 carbon atoms, OBR′2 wherein R′ may be an alkyl group having up to 12 carbon atoms or an aryl group having up to 12 carbon atoms, and SO3R″ wherein R″ may be an alkyl group having up to 12 carbon atoms or an aryl group having up to 12 carbon atoms, and Cp1 and Cp2 are each independently a substituted or unsubstituted cyclopentadienyl group, or a substituted or unsubstituted indenyl group, where any substituent on Cp1 and Cp2 is H, a hydrocarbyl group having up to 18 carbon atoms or a hydrocarbylsilyl group having up to 18 carbon atoms, (b) a second metallocene complex, (c) a non-group 4 metallocene transition-metal complex, (d) an activator or activator-support, and (e) an optional cocatalyst.

    摘要: The present invention provides a method of removing undesired isomers, including substituted cyclopentadiene regioisomers, from the desired fulvene in a crude fulvene composition by selectively reacting the undesired isomers with pyrrolidine and 4-(N,N-dimethylamino)benzaldehyde. This reaction converts the undesired substituted cyclopentadienes into fulvene-type compounds that is readily separated from the desired fulvene.
