摘要： A stationary communication device (SCD) is placed at a predetermined position to form a communication area covering vehicles traveling on a road. A vehicular communication device (VCD) is mounted on a vehicle for communicating with the SCD when the vehicle enters in the communication area. The SCD divides sound guidance data into a plurality of sound data blocks of predetermined communication frames and transmits the divided sound data blocks successively. The VCD receives the divided sound data blocks transmitted from the SCD, and requests the SCD to transmit specific sound data block again when the VCD fails to receive this specific sound data block, thereby issuing a sound guidance using the received sound data blocks including the specific sound data block transmitted again.

摘要： An apparatus for treating the inner surface of a vacuum chamber includes a support, means for anchoring the vacuum chamber to the support and holding the vacuum chamber, a broach having a plurality of cutting edges having cutouts, and broach drive means to which the broach arranged on the support is fitted. The broach drive means unidirectionally moves the broach relatively to the vacuum chamber in an axial direction to cut off a contaminated layer on an inner surface of the vacuum chamber. The outer diameter of each cutting edge, excluding the cutouts, is set greater than that of an immediately preceding one in a direction of a rearmost edge face from a front edge face. The apparatus may also include means for supplying an inert gas or a mixture of nitrogen and inert gases to a surface of the vacuum chamber being treated by the broach, or means for supplying a lower alcohol for dissolving contaminants contained in the contaminated layer to the surface of the vacuum chamber being treated by the broach.

摘要： A device for preventing laser beam leakage, which excludes a danger that a laser beam emitted from a laser source directly attacks eyes of an operator when an external connector is connected to or disconnected from an internal connector, aiming at being inexpensive and excellent in operability, and having a high safety. When the external connector has been removed from the optical transmission apparatus, a pair of movable shield plates are constantly urged in respective directions for closing a receiving opening of the apparatus to bring joining portions of the movable shield plates into close contact with each other, thereby preventing dust from entering the inside of the apparatus and the laser beam from being leaked. Further, a limit switch is provided, which stops delivering an ON signal to an E/O laser module when the external connector is pulled out of the optical transmission apparatus, whereby the E/O laser beam stops supply of the laser beam, thereby bringing into effect a perfect measure for protection of the eyes of the operation from the laser beam.

摘要： Documents stacked in a document tray are fed from the lowermost sheet by a feeding belt and then by a feeding belt to a light exposure station via feeding rollers, and after light exposure are recirculated onto the uppermost sheet of the document tray by a inverted feeding roller via an ejection roller. When the documents are double-sided, they are invertedly fed in the direction of a feeding path by the feeding roller, fed to the light exposure station, and each side of the documents presented for light exposure. Here, when trouble occurs in the copying unit, the document in the feeding path is returned to the document tray while recirculative feeding of the documents remaining in the document tray is performed for automatic restoration of the documents to their originally stacked state when returned to the tray. Therefore, only the minimum necessary number of documents are fed through the inverted feeding path. Thus, restoration of the initial stacked state of the documents may be carried out automatically for shortening of the time required therefor.

摘要： The primary object of the invention is to realize a mobile object identification system of simple construction and low cost, in which the responding unit attached to a mobile object writes data only once when it receives write signals repeatedly in communication with antenna units. When a tag unit (responding unit) receives a write signal from a writing antenna unit, it writes data to the data memory when a completion flag is cleared. When the data is first written, a control circuit sets the completion flag. Then, if the tag unit receives additional write signals in the communication area of the same writing antenna unit, the control circuit invalidates the data write command on the ground that the completion flag is set, thereby preventing duplicate data writing.

The paper feeding device has a memory for storing the number of sheets supplied from a respective one of the feed positions of the swivel cassette. A paper feed position used high frequency is regarded as the priority-given position by comparing the stored numbers with each other, so that the swivel cassette is set to the paper feed position used high frequency when power is turned on, auto clear is executed or the all clear key is depressed. Accordingly, the user can save the trouble of changing over to that feed position used with high frequency, and this feature improves the convenience of the copier.

The apparatus is designed to eliminate the need of providing an independent light source for blank exposure thereby simplifying the arrangement for blank exposure to be performed with respect to the photoreceptor and saving the manufacturing cost for the apparatus.
