摘要： A turbocharger having a rotor shaft supported by bearing portions of a bearing housing through floating bushes. Holders for the floating bushes are replaceably secured to the inner peripheral surfaces of the bearing portions opposing to the outer peripheral surfaces of the floating bushes. When the holders are worn down, the holders solely can be replaced with new ones, so that it is not necessary to renew the bearing housing as a whole.

摘要： An electrostatic copying process and apparatus capable of forming copies in at least two different ratios. The formation of a copied image involves exposure scanning of the image of an original document and projecting it on a photosensitive member through an optical device. The change of the ratio of copying is achieved by changing the ratio of projection of the image of the document onto the photosensitive member by the optical device, and also changing the speed of the scanning.

摘要： A cleaning device for an electrostatic photographic copying machine having a sensitive drum provided with a paper-stripping groove at one side thereof includes an upper blade for stripping residual toner from the sensitive drum, a lower blade for guiding the thus stripped toner from the surface of the sensitive drum toward a toner withdrawing device, and a groove cover covering the paper-stripping groove at least from the upper blade to the lower blade so that the groove cover will be in contact with the lower blade. Residual toner which is stripped from the surface of the sensitive drum is prevented from entering the paper stripping groove by the groove cover.

摘要： An electrostatic copying apparatus in which the paper is fed from a cassette. The cassette has a casing for a stack of sheet-like copying papers of at least two different sizes, said casing being a box-like housing having an open top, a closure plate mounted detachably on the top surface of the housing and having at least one display window, and at least two restricting members mounted in spaced-apart relation in the longitudinal direction of the cassette casing so that they can pivot about the axial line of the cassette casing extending in the transverse direction of the cassette casing, each of the restricting members having a restricting portion for restricting the rear end of copying papers to be accommodated in the housing and a display portion having an indication of the size of copying papers, the display portion being positioned adjacent to the display window when the restricting portion is brought to its operative position beneath the closure plate.

摘要： The invention is concerned with a sliding-type bearing suitable for use in high-speed rotary machines. The sliding-type bearing has a bearing surface provided with a lubricating oil groove at each of two portions thereof substantially 90.degree. spaced from the point to which the load exerted by the bearing is applied. A chamfer is formed in the portion of the bearing surface near one of the two lubricating oil grooves remoter from the point of the minimum bearing clearance which is determined by the direction of rotation of the shaft and the direction of application of the load by the rotary shaft. This chamfer permits the discharge of the heated lubricating oil to the outside of the bearing thereby to prevent the same from flowing into the point of the minimum bearing clearance.
