摘要： A toner includes a binder resin; a release agent; and two or more inorganic fine particles as external additives. At least one of the inorganic fine particles is silica. When an ultrasonic oscillation is applied to a dispersion including the toner and a dispersant and a rate of the silica releasing from the toner is 20% based on total silica, an application energy of the ultrasonic oscillation is from 8 to 14 kJ, and from 70 to 130 kJ when the rate of the silica releasing from the toner is 50%.

摘要： The object of the present invention is to provide a toner having a uniform composition of toner materials among toner particles, excelling in charge stability, enabling high-quality images without substantially causing fog and toner scattering, and having a small diameter and a narrow particle size distribution. The present invention also provides an effective production method of the toner, and an image forming method and the like using the toner. For this end, the present invention provides a method for producing a toner in which a dissolved and dispersed solution of toner materials is dispersed as dispersion particles in an aqueous medium containing no organic resin fine particles to prepare an oil droplet-in-water dispersion, and organic resin fine particles are added to the oil droplet-in-water dispersion to thereby granulate a toner in the presence of the organic resin fine particles.

摘要： A toner including a binder resin comprising a polyester resin in an amount of from 50 to 100% by weight, wherein the polyester resin includes an unsaturated polyester resin which is preferably a crystalline polyester resin; a colorant; and a fatty acid metal salt which is preferably microencapsulated. A method for preparing a toner including forming particles of a toner composition including at least a binder resin including a polyester resin in an amount of from 50 to 100% by weight and a colorant, in an aqueous medium to prepare a dispersion of a particulate material, wherein the polyester resin includes an unsaturated polyester resin; drying the particulate material; and mixing a fatty acid metal salt with the particulate material to subject double bonds of the unsaturated polyester resin to oxidation polymerization.

摘要： A toner for developing an electrostatic image having a good combination of hot offset resistance and low temperature fixability. The toner includes (1) a resin having at least one group that can react with a compound having an active hydrogen in an amount of 2 pieces per molecule of the resin, and a colorant. The toner satisfies the following relationship: 3≦G=R−Rideal≦20, where G represents a ratio of a weight of components other than the colorant and the resin that are insoluble in the organic solvent to total weight of the toner, R represents a weight ratio of components included in the toner that are insoluble in the organic solvent to the total weight of the toner, and Rideal represents an ideal weight ratio of the colorant and the resin, which is calculated from a formula of the toner.
