摘要: A server includes processing circuitry configured to receive one or more images, the one or more images including one or more representations of people. Additionally, the processing circuitry is configured to apply a neural network to the one or more images, wherein the neural network classifies at least one aesthetic component of each image of the one or more images, an aesthetic component score being generated for each image in the one or more images. Further, the processing circuitry is configured to generate a user eyewear equipment profile for a user, the user being matched to a persona from a personae database, each persona in the personae database being linked to one or more persona eyewear equipment profiles, the one or more persona eyewear equipment profiles being based on the aesthetic component score, and select eyewear equipment for the user based on the generated user eyewear equipment profile.

摘要: This method for building a prediction model for predicting evolution over time of at least one vision-related parameter of at least one person includes: obtaining successive values respectively corresponding to repeated measurements over time of at least one parameter of a first predetermined type for at least one member of a group of individuals; obtaining evolution over time of the vision-related parameter(s) for the member(s) of the group of individuals; building by at least one processor the prediction model, including associating at least part of the successive values with the obtained evolution over time of the vision-related parameter(s) for the member(s) of the group of individuals, the associating including jointly processing the at least part of the successive values associated with a same one of the parameter(s) of the first predetermined type. The prediction model depends differentially on each of the jointly processed values.

摘要: A progressive ophthalmic lens adapted to a wearer in given wearing conditions having an addition and fulfilling an acuity performance criterion determined by: defining a set of at least three different vision distances including at least a first vision distance greater than or equal to 4 m, a second vision distance greater than or equal to 0.6 m and smaller than or equal to 2 m and a third vision distance smaller than or equal to 0.5 m, each vision distance being associated with an acuity loss threshold value and an acuity area threshold value, providing an acuity model defining acuity loss as a function of lens power and resulting astigmatism, determining of each vision distance using the acuity model the area of gaze directions for which the acuity loss is below the associated acuity loss threshold value.

摘要: Provided herein is an improved spin coating system and a method of using the spin coating machine to produce an optical article. The system includes at least one dispensing arm assembly. The holder assembly is moveable along a substantially vertical axis. The dispensing arm assembly has a base and at least one arm having a first end and a second end and is moveable along a horizontal axis. The at least one arm is operably coupled to the base at the first end and operably coupled to at least one applicator at the second end, and the applicator is capable of being positioned along the substantially vertical axis. The method includes depositing a primer layer onto a lens using the dispensing arm assembly, followed by a hard coating, and drying and cooling the substrate using a drying/cooling station that is positioned substantially along the substantially vertical axis.
