    摘要： Embodiments of the disclosure provide an adapter valve assembly and a method for installing an adapter valve assembly that allows for independent control of fluid flow at an individual nozzle assembly. The adapter valve assembly can include a ball valve that can be actuated by electricity to change its position. The adapter valve assembly can function independent of the pressure or flow within the system and can be actuated as desired by the user. The adapter valve assembly can also have internal threads which can connect with the existing external threads on nozzle assemblies already installed in the field. Therefore, the adapter valve assembly can be used for retrofit applications.

The fluid sprayer also includes a blower assembly positioned upstream of the nozzle assembly for dispersing the atomized fluid from the nozzle assembly into the surroundings of the fluid sprayer and a discharge chute positioned downstream of the blower assembly into which the atomized fluid from the nozzle assembly is sprayed before being discharged upward and into the surroundings of the fluid sprayer.

A boom is coupled to the carrier and includes a distribution hose through which the liquid product flows from the storage tank and into a number of liquid placement apparatuses. Each liquid placement apparatus includes a drop assembly coupled to the boom and extending downward. A base assembly is coupled to the lower end of the drop assembly and a hose assembly extends from the distribution hose to the base assembly. A lower hose assembly is protected within the base assembly and includes a pair of dribble hoses extruding from the base assembly. The liquid product is delivered proximate to the ground surface through the dribble hoses.

    摘要： A product reservoir is provided that includes a flexible bag and a carton to receive and retain the flexible bag. The bag may contain liquid chemical substances that are dispensed from the bag through a bag spout. The product reservoir may serve as a component to a fluid delivery system, such as a direct injection system employed by agricultural seed planting machines. When the bag is connected to the direct injection system, the liquid substance is placed in fluid communication with a delivery device whereby the substance can be dispensed to a selected area for treatment. The liquid substance may be mixed in-line with water received from a water reservoir prior to being dispensed by the delivery device. The planting machine may be equipped with a plurality of product reservoirs. A method of applying a liquid pesticide to a selected area is also provided.

The fluid storage module is detachably coupled to the dispersion module to effect reconfiguration of the fluid sprayer between a first configuration in which the fluid storage module and the dispersion module are positioned in a side-by-side manner, and a second configuration in which the fluid storage module and the dispersion module are positioned in-line with each other.
