A rotatingly driven working tool is rotatably supported in the housing and passes through the working slot to act on a surface to be cleaned. A motor is arranged in the housing and has a motor shaft. A gear system is connected between the motor and the working tool, wherein the gear system has a driving wheel driven by the motor shaft and a driven wheel fixedly connected to the working tool. The driving wheel and the driven wheel are V-belt pulleys and have a peripheral groove, respectively. The gear system further has a V-gear positioned between the driving wheel and the driven wheel, wherein the V-gear has an outer periphery that engages the peripheral grooves for establishing a driving connection between the driving wheel and the driven wheel.

摘要： A wheel driven suction nozzle having an upper body attached to an under body. An opening is formed at a front of the upper body which provides access to a suction cavity. An agitator covered with a fluff material is removably rotatably mounted within the cavity and extends partially out a bottom of the under body to clean and shine bare floors. A cover is hingedly mounted to the upper body and movable between an open position which provides access to the cavity and allows for removal of the agitator, and a closed position which covers the cavity and prevents removal of the agitator. A cogged front pulley is attached to one end of the agitator. A cogged belt is driven by a rear cogged pulley and engages the front pulley whereby rotation of the rear pulley rotates the agitator. A front gear is rigidly connected to the rear pulley and engages a rear gear which is rigidly connected to an axle shaft. A pipped wheel is attached to each end of the axial shaft whereby rotation of the wheels rotates the rear gear which, in turn, rotates the front gear, the rear pulley and thus the agitator.

Because the peripheral surface of the working roller is uneven, when the vacuum suction head portion is moved back and forth, the working roller and driven roller are rotated, the moisture cleaner thus being operative such that the moisture cleaner contacts the floor as the normal vacuum suction cleaning proceeds.

摘要： The invention is directed to a replaceable brush assembly for a floor cleaning device such as an electric carpet sweeper. The cleaning device is equipped with a so-called central drive. Replaceable brush assemblies are pushed over respective ends of the output shaft. Each brush assembly is equipped with a tubular brush having a ring-shaped cavity disposed in surrounding relationship to a slot formed in the end face of the output shaft. An S-shaped spring has two arms connected to each other by a straight segment which seats in the slot of the shaft when the brush assembly is mounted on the shaft. The arms are resiliently biased against the wall of the ring-shaped cavity.

摘要： A vacuum cleaner nozzle having a front suction inlet and a suction passage. A first brush is rotatably mounted to the nozzle at the suction inlet, and a second brush is rotatably mounted to the nozzle adjacent the first brush at the suction inlet. A first transfer passage extends from the suction inlet adjacent the first brush for passing material dislodged by the first brush to the suction passage. A second transfer passage extends from the suction inlet adjacent the second brush for transferring material from the second brush to the second transfer passage. In one form, the brushes are rotated by separate drive means, and in another form, one of the brushes is rotated by drive means and is coupled to the other brush for rotation thereof. The brushes, in the illustrated embodiment, rotate in opposite directions so that a brush is brushing forwardly relative to the movement of the vacuum cleaner and either of opposite directions of movement thereof. The transfer passages are arranged to open generally tangentially to the brushes for improved transfer of material thereinto. Portions of the walls of the structure are disposed to strip from the brushes material clinging to the periphery thereof at the entrance to the transfer passages.
