    摘要: There is provided a stapler which can perform a stapling operation with smaller force. A connected staple assembly cassette eliminates a metallic feed spring pressing the connected staple assembly, and instead, a reverse movement stop feeder is mounted. A mount sensor for sensing the mounting of the connected staple assembly cassette is provided for the stapler. In addition, a pusher piece is provided in order to follow up the reverse movement stop feeder in the connected staple assembly cassette with the sensing of the mount sensor and to push forward the reverse movement feeder. A magazine support spring for returning the staple mount magazine to the original position is eliminated, and the staple mount magazine can be returned to the original position by the released operation handle. During the advancing of the front staple in the staple lowering slit, the next staple can be blocked from advance movement.

    摘要: A spring energized stapler includes a “high start” design wherein a striker has a rest position above the staple track. A handle is pressed to energize a power spring while the striker remains stationary. At a predetermined position of the handle, the striker is released to eject a staple. A subassembly of a cage and the power spring provides a preload to the power spring in the rest position. The subassembly is separately movable from the handle to allow a handle pressing end to move farther than the striker's distance of travel. The handle includes a movable pivot location to enable enhanced motion of the handle pressing end. Alternatively, an optional lever links the striker to the power spring to provide leverage upon the power spring. A release latch may be mounted in front of the striker to be engaged by the lever or the handle.

    摘要: A stapler includes a body and a strike plate movably mounted to the body between a rest position and a loaded position. The strike plate is adapted to drive a staple into a target object. The strike plate may be moved from the rest position to the loaded position by a loading mechanism against the bias of a power spring, whereupon the energy stored in the power spring is applied to the strike plate to drive the staple. A stapler may include a lockout which inhibits movement of the strike plate toward the loaded position unless a work piece is beneath the stapler body.

The base surrounds the rear of the stapler body to provide a smooth exterior so that the device is natural to use both horizontally and vertically. A simple re-set spring provides a smooth re-set action as the handle is raised. A staple track includes enlargement features to fit a larger staple pusher spring.

The lever arm includes a grip for receiving a manual input from a user, and the lever arm is coupled to the ram at a ram input in order to provide a drive force. The stapler includes an inherent force factor, calculated as the horizontal distance from the lever pivot axis to the end of the lever arm divided by the horizontal distance from the lever pivot axis to the ram input, of at least 3.8. Preferably, the lever arm defines an effective lever axis that is at least about 65° offset from the ram axis when in the static position. When stapling, the effective lever axis is preferably offset greater than about 95° when the lever arm is compressed to the fully stapled position.
