Abstract:
A figure wheel locking device includes a housing, a key locking mechanism, a pushing assembly, a plurality of figure-detecting members, and a figure locking mechanism. The key locking mechanism is sleeved in the housing. The pushing assembly is movably located in the housing. Each of the figure-detecting members has a first rotating member. The figure locking mechanism has a plurality of figure wheels, and each of the figure wheels has a second rotating member. The direction of the first rotating member is defined as a first rotating axis. The direction of the second rotating member is defined as a second rotating axis. The second rotating axis and the first rotating axis are interlaced to each other. The second rotating member drives the first rotating member. Thereby, the compound locking device having a key locking mechanism and a figure locking mechanism prevents the figure wheels from becoming axially disposed in serial.

Abstract:
A locking mechanism that allows a live bolt lock plate and a primary vertical lock plate to move relative to one another irrespective of the plates connection with a drive mechanism is provided. The drive mechanism includes first and second gears and is used to move the locking mechanism between locked and unlocked positions. The live bolt lock plate has a slot defined therein and is engaged with the first gear of the drive mechanism. The primary lock plate is engaged with the second gear of the drive mechanism and has a guide pin mounted thereon. The guide pin is positioned within the slot to slidingly couple the live bolt lock plate and the primary lock plate, in addition to their connection with the drive mechanism. A tumbler stack is associated with the primary lock plate for selectively allowing the primary locking plate to be moved to the unlocked position.
Abstract:
A method is disclosed for obtaining altitude-related data along roads. A vehicle includes equipment capable of determining the current absolute positions of the vehicle as it is being driven. The vehicle also includes equipment capable of determining a distance traveled by the vehicle. Two points along a road are selected. Altitude-related data are determined as a function of the horizontal difference between the absolute positions of the two points and the distance traveled by the vehicle between the two points.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a navigation apparatus and a method for calculating an optimum travel route thereof. The calculating method comprises the steps of a) detecting present location information of a movable body in response to a user's request for the optimum travel route to a designated destination, b) detecting present link information corresponding to the present location information of the movable body from stored map data, c) detecting information of links neighboring the present link in the direction of the destination from the map data, d) calculating a cumulative travel time from the present location of the movable body to each neighboring link using the predetermined weighted values assigned to each of traveling directions of the present link information and the information of the neighboring links, e) selecting one optimum neighboring link information out of the neighboring link information detected from the map data according to the calculated cumulative travel time of each neighboring link, and f) repeating steps c) to e), subsequently detecting the optimum travel route from the selected optimum neighboring link information when a finally selected optimum neighboring link information includes destination information, and outputting the detected optimum travel route. The method for calculating the optimum travel route using the navigation apparatus of the present invention improves the probability that the vehicle requesting the optimum travel route is in the range of the optimum travel route provided by the navigation apparatus.
Abstract:
In the handle assembly, a combination lock (6) is opened by turning each dial discs (4) a given number of times to establish a combination of marks on the discs, and is incorporated in a handle (2) and disposed adjacent to a cylinder lock (13) in the handle. A receiver lever (16) pivoted on a base body (1), is controlled by a lock plate (5). A stopping plate (11), interlocked with a rotor (8) of the cylinder lock (13), engages receiver lever (16) pivoted to the base body (1), so that the handle (2) is held in its folded position. When the combination lock (6) is in its unlocked condition and the handle (2) is pulled, the receiver lever (16) is swung upward by the stopping plate (11) to release handle (2) from the base body (1). A plurality of slots (68) are formed on a bottom surface of a dent portion (100) of the handle (2). An outer peripheral portion of each of the dial discs (4) projects into the dent portion (100) through the slot (68) so that an outer peripheral surface of the dial disc (4) is set back from a virtual extension plate of the front surface (2a) of the handle (2). The handle assembly is attached to a door (30) front side having an opening (32) into which the base body (1) is fitted and retained by a pivoted fastening stopper (80) actuated by set screw (82) fixing arrangement.
Abstract:
A locking arrangement for a switchgear cabinet, having a holding device, which contains a manual lever in a handle receptacle. The manual lever can be arrested in a locked position on the holding device by a displaceably seated bolt. For actuating the bolt, the holding device, which is in operative contact with the bolt, contains a lock in a lock housing. To make a locking arrangement accessible with little cost to a limited and definite group of people in connection with switchgear cabinets, the holding device contains a secondary lock which is also in operative connection with the bolt, or the secondary lock is in operative connection with a second bolt by a second actuating member, wherein the second bolt arrests the manual lever in a blocking position on the holding device.
Abstract:
Although a door locking handle assembly is small as a whole in thickness, it permits through a computerized personal management system of users a plurality of persons or users to have access to instruments contained in a box provided with the door locking handle assembly in an easy manner. In the assembly, a combination lock (19) opened by turning each of a set of its specially marked dial discs (21) a given number of times to establish a unique combination of marks of the dial discs (21) is incorporated in a door handle (13) or a base body (1) of the assembly. In operation, a locking member (44) of the assembly prevents the door handle (13) from being pulled out of the base body (1), and is driven to reach its unlocked position when the combination lock (19) is opened.
Abstract:
A dual mechanism lock comprises a combination lock structure is disposed; a key lock having an internal cylinder and an external cylinder, and a fixing plate is embedded into a fixing groove on the external cylinder; the combination lock structure having a plurality of combination wheels pivotally coupled to the lock core rod connecting to the external cylinder; a spring is disposed between the other end of the lock core rod and the lock body; the internal cylinder is protruded from the panel and the panel is coupled to a knob; a sliding member is corresponsive to coupling and detachment of the inner groove of the external cylinder, and the lock core rod and the combination wheels control the coupling and detachment of the fixing plate and the external cylinder, or the key via the internal cylinder generates the movement for the coupling and detachment.
