    Abstract: An air conditioning apparatus includes: an absolute humidity set value calculation section that acquires a first absolute humidity determined from a first temperature and a first relative humidity, the first temperature and the first relative humidity being previously set; a dew-point temperature calculation section that acquires a dew-point temperature determined from the first temperature and the first relative humidity; an absolute humidity calculation section that acquires a second absolute humidity determined from a second temperature indicating a temperature inside the room and a second relative humidity indicating a relative humidity inside the room; and a heat exchanger temperature comparison and determination section and an indoor unit fan/blow-off port control section that control a dehumidification operation that stops air-blowing of an indoor unit fan, closes an blow-off port, and cools an indoor heat exchanger at the dew-point temperature when the second absolute humidity is higher than the first absolute humidity.

    Abstract: Provided are an air conditioner capable of indoor heating and humidity control with a simple structure and a method of controlling the same. The air conditioner comprises: a first air flow channel; a second air flow channel; a dehumidification rotor which comprises a first region provided on the first air flow channel, a second region provided on the second air flow channel, and an adsorbent which alternately passes through the first region and the second region and adsorbs moisture in the first region or the second region; and a control unit configured to control air flowing in the first air flow path so that the air is heated by a heater and discharged to an indoor area and control moisture of air flowing through the second region so that the moisture is evaporated in the first region to humidify the indoor.

Additionally, the system enable a vacuum pump to be disconnected from power in response to a physical emergency button, a software-based emergency stop button available on network connected devices, and an automatic power disconnection in response to an abnormal mass flow reading that could potentially impact the vacuum pump.

    Abstract: A Heating, Ventilating Air Conditioning (HVAC) fan control method comprising: detecting a HVAC fan is controlled by a fan-on setting, determining a HVAC fan-on operating time (F6) is greater than a Threshold Fan-on Time (TFT); and performing at least one action selected from the group consisting of: providing a HVAC fan-on alarm message, overriding the fan-on setting, and turning off the HVAC fan. The method may also include turning off an ultraviolet lamp after the HVAC fan is turned off, and turning on the ultraviolet lamp after the HVAC fan is turned on. Turning off the HVAC fan comprises: turning off the HVAC fan for a variable duration, skipping a scheduled fan-on setting, turning off the HVAC fan based on a call for cooling/heating, turning off the HVAC fan based on an indoor air quality measurement, and turning off the HVAC fan based on a geofencing or occupancy sensor signal.

    Abstract: A terminal unit for a heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) system may include a housing defining a mixing chamber. The mixing chamber may have a primary air inlet, a plenum air inlet, and a mixed air outlet, and mix a primary air flow from the primary air inlet with a plenum air flow from the plenum air inlet to form a mixed air flow that is output through the mixed air outlet to a conditioned space. The terminal unit may also include a panel adjustably coupled to the housing to adjustably occlude the plenum air inlet. The terminal unit may also include an actuator coupled to the housing and the panel to move the panel and adjust a size of an air flow path corresponding to the plenum air inlet.
