摘要： A package includes two or more individual cup dispensing units, each unit comprising a carton holding a stack of nested tapered cups. Each carton of a dispensing unit is of paperboard having a generally circular opening in a top wall through which the tapered cups protrude, and which opening is surrounded by a series of short radial knife cuts defining a series of yieldable tabs on the wall which permit the topmost protruding cup to be pulled through the opening, but which function to restrain the cups immediately below. The bottom wall of the carton is formed with a generally circular opening, either fully cut-out or defined by a series of radial cuts, which permits the protruding tapered cups of a similar, adjacent carton to extend through the bottom opening into the carton to form a compact, multiple dispensing unit package which is shrink wrapped for shipping and display.

摘要： A one-piece T-shaped carton blank is disclosed which is utilized to form a rectangular cross-sectional container having its top and bottom end panels sealed in a plane substantially perpendicular to its sidewalls. The carton blank is formed having a definite dimensional relationship between its end panels and side panels to provide improved nesting of multiple carton blanks upon paperboard sheet stock in an alternating inverted side-by-side relationship. A pair of end sealing tabs extend along the top and bottom edges of the blank side panels. One of the end sealing tabs is separated from the top end panel and from a side sealing tap to prevent tearing and to permit the complete welding of the side sealing tab up onto the top end closure panel of the carton blank. This separation of the end sealing tab in combination with displacement of the hinge line of the top end closure panel downward provides a liquid-tight corner seal for the carton. Further, an improved method of scoring and bending of the carton blank is provided.

摘要： A disposable single-service cup dispenser carton is disclosed. The carton is fabricated from a blank of flexible sheet material which is pre-cut and scored to define panel enclosure portion to permit the blank to be folded and erected into a tubular carton which can be collapsed during shipping and which can be folded when erected to enclose a stack of nested cups. The carton includes a dispensing panel connected intermediate side panels having pre-cut portions and perforations which delineate a tear line forming the boundary of a dispensing opening. The portion of the end panel circumscribed by the tear line is removable to permit the withdrawal of a cup from a nested stack of cups enclosed by the carton. The dispensing opening is characterized by a substantially circular edge interrupted by a plurality of radially projecting tabs which are circumferentially spaced relative to each other around the periphery of the dispensing opening. In a preferred embodiment, the diameter of the circular edge of the dispensing opening is substantially equal to the outside diameter of the rolled edge of the cup, and the diameter of the dispensing end panel portion enclosed by the tear line as measured between radially opposite tabs is substantially equal to the diameter of the open end of the cup which is joined to the rolled edge.

A flexible closure strip lies within the boundary of the front wall and has a pair of spaced undercut complemental bosses respectively removably engaged in the spaced openings such that the closure strip may be removed from the access opening and pivoted about the anchoring opening for removal of parts from the container. 摘要： An easy packing deep container is made from a cut and scored blank of paperboard or the like and comprises opposed pairs of main panels connected along lines of fold to define a tube, together with closure flaps extending from one end of the main panel and foldable to position to define an end closure for the tube. Second closure flaps extending from the opposite edges of the main panel are foldably connected thereto, one of the second closure panels being slit midway thereof perpendicular to the line of fold with its adjacent main panel to define a pair of minor closure flaps. The slit extends into the same main panel for a predetermined distance, and a score line extends from each side of the slit in such main panel to a corner of the panel to define a pair of triangular shaped subpanels, which together with the minor closure flaps are foldable to position to provide easy loading of the tube from the open side thereof. The triangular shaped subpanels are foldable back into the plane of such panel to complete the loading of the tube, and the minor flaps are thereafter foldable into overlapping and secured relationship with the second closure flaps after completing of the loading of the tube.
