摘要: In an opposed-piston disc brake caliper, a pair of reinforcement bridge portions, which are inclined relative to an axial direction, are provided on outside of a rotor in a radial direction of the rotor so as to define corner opening portions in an opening portion which is defined by an inner body portion, an outer body portion, and an entry-side connection portion and an exit-side connection portion connecting the inner body portion and the outer body portion. A torque receiving portion of one of the entry-side torque receiving portion and the exit-side torque receiving portion is exposed toward an outside in the radial direction via the corner opening portions.

摘要: A disc brake caliper, has a caliper body having a pair of half-calipers which define a housing compartment for a portion of an associable brake disc. The half-calipers being placed on opposite sides to the housing compartment in an axial direction parallel to the rotation axis of the associable brake disc. At least one half-caliper is fitted with at least one housing seat for a piston suitable to press a pad against the associable brake disc, in the axial direction. The housing seat passes through the respective half-caliper so as to extend between an inner wall facing the housing compartment and an outer wall of the half-caliper, axially opposite the housing compartment. A cup-shaped hollow insert is housed inside the housing seat so as to present a closed end wall, placed on the side of the outer wall of the half-caliper, and a cavity having an aperture facing axially towards the housing compartment. At least one piston is housed inside the cavity of the insert and is guided axially by an inner side wall of the insert.

摘要: A friction brake device has a brake rotor that rotates around an axis of rotation, brake pads that can rotate around an axis of autorotation parallel to the axis of rotation, support members that support the brake pads respectively, and pressing devices that press the brake pads against the brake rotor respectively. In the friction brake device, when the brake pads are pressed against the brake rotor, the brake pads revolve around the axis of rotation relatively to the brake rotor while being frictionally engaged with lateral faces of the brake rotor respectively. The support members press the brake pads in a direction perpendicular to the axis of rotation, and frictionally engage outer peripheries of the brake pads with a cylindrical face of the brake rotor respectively. The brake pads auto-rotate around the axis of autorotation upon beginning to be pressed, but come to rest when the pressing force increases.

A connecting channel forming section, which corresponds to each cylinder-side hydraulic channel and the hydraulic linking channel is provided, in advance, in a core used during casting of the inner caliper section, the outer caliper section, and the bridge section, and is formed by setting in a situation to be embedded at the same time as each caliper section and the bridge section are being integrally cast.

摘要: A transmission brake device includes: a friction plate set configured such that a plurality of rotation-side friction plates; an engaging piston disposed on an axial side of the friction plate set; a clearance adjustment piston disposed on a side of the engaging piston opposite to the friction plate set,; a clearance adjustment hydraulic chamber configured to move the clearance adjustment piston; and an engaging hydraulic chamber configured to move the engaging piston; a biasing member disposed between each adjacent pair of the fixed-side friction plates, the biasing member being configured to bias each adjacent pair of the fixed-side friction plates in directions away from each other. The biasing member distributes the clutch clearance in a gap between each adjacent pair of the fixed-side friction plates when a hydraulic pressure is supplied only to the clearance adjustment hydraulic chamber.

The limiter further includes a brake disc (214) mounted on the moveable shaft; a first friction device (216A) located to a first side of the brake disc, and a second friction device (216B) located to a second side. In use, contact between the brake disc and the first or the second friction device stops a motor (302) rotating the moveable shaft. The limiter also includes a casing (102) housing at least the brake disc, the first friction device and the second friction device, and an adjusting arrangement (224A, 224B) for adjusting a position of the first friction device and/or the second friction device relative to the brake disc. The adjusting arrangement is operable from outside the casing.
