摘要： A wind-up reel for cooling and storage of heavy duty utility electric cord which includes three elements in the form of a housing open at one side, a rotating facer plate to close that opening and an idle plate to form a spool with the face plate and rotatable with the coil and face plate to protect the coil against abrasion and to provide a lateral bearing surface against the outer case. A storage recess in the face plate will house one functional end of the cord. Spaced reinforcing on the housing and the facer plate provides a structure which can be light in weight while maintaining the proper shape for the function.
