摘要: A device for removing a wear member from a ground engaging surface, the device comprising:
a body having cavity and a wear member engaging portion to engage the wear member when the wear member extends into the cavity;
a gripper movable relative to the body, the gripper having a bracing member adapted to bear against a portion of the ground engaging surface to thereby provide a load path from the ground engaging surface to the wear member engaging portion; and
a first actuator connected to the gripper and the body, to apply a force to the gripper, to urge the gripper to move relative to the body, such that, when the bracing member bears against the ground engaging surface, movement of the gripper relative to the body removes the wear member from the ground engaging surface.-

摘要: A mounting pin assembly having a retaining member which includes a locating surface and a boss extending from the locating surface. The mounting pin assembly also has a locating member slidably mountable upon the locating surface of the retaining member. The locating member also has an enlarged portion defined by an outwardly divergent face. The mounting pin assembly also has a tensioning member extending between and coupling the boss of said retaining member and the locating member. The tensioning member is configured to cause relative contraction of the mounting pin assembly such that the locating member is drawn upon the locating surface of the retaining member towards the boss when a tensile force is applied to the tensioning member.

摘要: An excavator tooth assembly comprises a first wear member and a second wear member. The second wear member is releasably mountable on the first wear member. The first wear member has a lock face. The second wear member also has a lock face. The lock face of the first wear member opposes the lock face of the second wear to define a lock passage therebetween when the second wear member is mounted on the first wear member. The excavator tooth assembly includes a lock pin which is adapted to be received in the lock passage to releasably secure the second wear member to the first wear member.

摘要: A lock assembly for releasably securing an excavator tooth on a nose of an excavator. The lock assembly has a rigid lock member having a base portion and a retaining portion extending from the base portion. The base portion is adapted to be located in a retaining cavity of the nose and the retaining portion adapted to at least partially extend into a retaining aperture of the wear member. The lock assembly also has a resiliently deformable lock member, in use, adapted to be located within the retaining cavity of the nose to abut an upper face of the rigid lock member to thereby captively retain the base portion of the rigid lock member in the retaining cavity and the retaining portion at least partially within the retaining aperture such that side walls of the retaining portion of the rigid lock member bear against complimentary side walls of the retaining aperture of the wear member and opposed bearing faces of the base portion of the rigid lock member oppose and engage respective side walls of the retaining cavity of the nose of the excavator to thereby releasably secure the wear member on the nose of the excavator.

摘要: A wear assembly having an adaptor with a spigot portion is disclosed. The spigot portion has a transverse dimension. The wear assembly also has a wear member releasably mountable on the adaptor. The wear member has a body with a socket cavity and the socket cavity is adapted to receive the spigot portion of the adaptor. The wear member also has a pair of mounting ears extending from the body. Each of the mounting ears has a transverse dimension. The transverse dimension of each mounting ear is in the range 0.25 to 0.4 of the transverse dimension of the spigot portion.
