摘要: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to network outage management. A method may include receiving, by a cloud-based system, a first indication of a first cable system outage; instantiating, by the cloud-based system, a first computing instance associated with generating event data indicative of the first cable system outage; instantiating, by the cloud-based system, a second computing instance associated with a machine learning model; generating, by the cloud-based system, using the event data as inputs to the machine learning model, a score indicative of a probability that the first cable system outage is repairable by a technician; and refrain from sending, by the cloud-based system, based on a comparison of the score to a score threshold, the event data to a first system associated with repairing the first cable system outage.

摘要: Disclosed are systems and methods for multiple spectrum plans on a single cable segment. An example method may include causing, by a processor, to send an indication to a first customer premises device (CPE) of a Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification (DOCSIS) network to transmit and receive data outside of a second frequency range, wherein the first CPE is configured to transmit and receive data over the DOCSIS network using a first frequency spectrum, wherein the first CPE is configured to transmit upstream data in a first frequency range between a first frequency and the second frequency, and wherein the DOCSIS network further comprises a second CPE configured to transmit and receive data on the DOCSIS network using a second frequency spectrum, wherein the second CPE is configured to transmit upstream data in a second frequency range between the second frequency and a third frequency.

摘要: Aspects are described that utilize a distributed network of mobile low-energy (LE) radio frequency (RF) reader devices to detect LE RF beacons relative to a location of each mobile LE RF reader device. According to an aspect, an onboard diagnostics (OBD) device is integrated with or coupled to a mobile LE RF reader device and a wireless backhaul interface. The wireless backhaul interface is configured to provide detection data that includes LE RF beacon data detected by the mobile LE RF reader device to a network server. The network server is configured to receive the detection data including detected LE RF beacon data from a plurality of OBD devices and/or mobile LE RF reader devices. Each mobile LE RF reader device can be configured to detect LE RF beacons and/or output detected LE RF beacon data according to certain trigger events as part of providing power management functionality.

摘要: Combining a plurality of video feeds of various modulation formats and from a variety of sources for providing a unified interface and an extension of services across the plurality of video feeds is provided. An integrated video feed system located at least in part at a subscriber premises is configured to receive a plurality of video content broadcast feeds (e.g., cable television, over the air television, satellite television, Internet Protocol television), generate a combined data feed comprising video content signals included in the plurality of video content feeds, identify and decode the video content signals, obtain additional data associated with each of the plurality of video content feeds, provide a unified interface for displaying an aggregation of data and services associated with the plurality of video content feeds, and to provide requested video content included in the plurality of video content broadcast feeds for playback on a display device.

摘要: This disclosure describes, among other things, an Optical Communications Module Link Extender (OCML) including embedded Ethernet and PON amplification rather than relying on a separate amplification module for Ethernet and/or PON signals transmitted through the OCML. Providing an OCML that is able to provide the appropriate amplification to transmit both Ethernet and PON signals may be accomplished by using one or more Raman pumps on the signals transmitted in the upstream direction through the OCML (for example, upstream from one or more customer devices to one or more OLTs for PON signals. This OCML configuration may allow for a more cost-effective and efficient system with a smaller footprint than a system that relies on external amplification modules to transmit Ethernet or PON signals.

摘要: This disclosure describes C and L band optical communications module link extender, and related systems and methods. An example method may include receiving, by a dense wave division multiplexer (DWDM) at a headend, one or more optical data signals over a C band and an L band. The example method may also include combining the one or more optical data signals. The example method may also include outputting a second signal to a first WDM at the headend. The example method may also include separating, by the first WDM, the second signal into a C band signal and an L band signal. The example method may also include outputting the C band signal to a first amplifier at the headend and the L band signal to a second amplifier at the headend. The example method may also include amplifying, by the first amplifier, the C band signal. The example method may also include outputting an amplified C band signal to a coexistence filter. The example method may also include amplifying, by the second amplifier, the L band signal. The example method may also include outputting an amplified L band signal to the coexistence filter. The example method may also include outputting, by the coexistence filter, a third signal.

摘要: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to network outage management. A method may include receiving a first indication of a first cable system outage. The method may include identifying a start time associated with the first cable system outage, and determining, based on the start time, a time period during which to refrain from generating a service ticket indicative of the first cable system outage. The method may include determining that the first cable system outage has not ended at an end time of the time period, and receiving a second indication of a second cable system outage. The method may include determining that the second cable system outage begins during the time period and has not ended at the end time. The method may include generating and sending a service ticket indicative of the first cable system outage and the second cable system outage.
