    摘要: There is set forth a process for the production of furnace black comprising spraying an oily carbon black forming material into a stream of hot combustion gases produced by reaction of fuel with reaction air, chilling and recovery of the carbon black by separation from the waste gases during which the reaction air is heated by means of waste gases. The waste gases are burned in a combustion apparatus by means of secondary air in order to heat the reaction air to a temperature between 600.degree. and 1,250.degree. C., preferably between 800.degree. and 1100.degree. C. and the thus heated reaction air is then introduced into the process.

    摘要: In the detoxification of waste waters containing nitrite ions by means of hydrogen peroxide the addition of hydrogen peroxide is automatically controllable by adding the hydrogen peroxide continuously or in portions with continuous measurement of the pH and stopping the addition when no further reduction of the pH is caused by it. By control of the hydrogen peroxide addition through the change of the pH it is guaranteed that sufficient hydrogen peroxide is added to reach a complete detoxification of the waste water while on the other hand there is not wasted hydrogen peroxide unnecessarily.

    摘要: There is provided an apparatus for continuous measurement of ion concentration in solutions by means of ion sensitive electrodes, which apparatus consists of an electrode containing measuring cell and a dosaging device. This apparatus is particularly suited for measuring cyanide ion concentration in strong hydrochloride solution in the presence of cyanogen chloride. The dosaging device contains a degassing section and a reflecting plate to which the supply means for the working solution to be measured and for the necessary auxiliary reagents are directed, the supply means being in the form of screens or nozzles.

C. and to recover the liquid cyanuric chloride in liquid form it is removed as such at the lower end of the stripping column and is either directly or, in a given case, after an intermediate storage led to a spray tower and is sprayed whereupon the solid, fine-grained cyanuric chloride is withdrawn at the bottom of the spray.

C. with the aid of a heating element and a stirrer.
