摘要: A method for controlling use of user plane radio communication resources of a telecommunications network and/or for controlling access of a user equipment to the telecommunications network includes: transmitting, by the telecommunications network, a plurality of specific suspend time indications to the user equipment, wherein each one of the plurality of specific suspend time indications relates to a different network slice and/or to a different network service; and controlling the use of user plane radio communication resources of the telecommunications network and/or the access of the user equipment to the telecommunications network by deciding whether an attempt to use user plane radio communication resources of the telecommunications network is allowed or disallowed and/or whether an attempt to access the telecommunications network is allowed or disallowed.

摘要: Services are provided at least indirectly by a network operator. A method for providing and/or using the services includes: providing a communication link between a network of the network operator and a user equipment (UE); transmitting a first communication address of a service controller of the network operator to the UE, wherein the service controller manages an access to services that can be used by the UE; sending, by the UE, a request to access a particular service of the service controller to the first communication address of the service controller; transmitting a message comprising a second communication address of the service from the service controller to the UE; and sending, by the UE, a request to start the service to the second communication address of the service.

摘要: The present disclosure refers to a method comprising: a) selecting an edge computing system (212) of a plurality of edge computing systems each located nearby a respective base station (211) of a wireless network (110) and deployed and managed by a network provider, the selected edge computing system (212) being configured to provision at least one latency critical application (214) which is to be provided to at least one end user device (230) in a cell via the base station (211) serving the cell and located nearby the selected edge computing system (212), b) provisioning, at the selected edge computing system (212), the at least one latency critical application (214) and a service layer radio application (SLRA) (215) for communication with a scheduler associated with the base station (211); c) transferring transmission specific data in real time between the at least one latency critical application (214) and the scheduler associated with the base station (211) via the service layer radio application (SLRA) (215) which is implemented on both, the selected edge computing system (212) and the scheduler, and d) continuously optimizing allocation of resources in the cell by taking into account current status and operation requirements of the at least one latency critical application (214) and/or continuously optimizing current use of the resources in the cell by using those transmission specific data for adapting the at least one latency critical application (214) in real time to current conditions on the cell. The present disclosure also refers to an appropriate system and an appropriate computer-readable medium.

摘要: A method for transmitting multiple data streams of different communication services over a multipath transmission system includes: providing data to be transmitted, wherein the data to be transmitted comprises first data and second data; detecting, out of a plurality of communication services, a first communication service the first data belongs to and a second communication service the second data belongs to; mapping the first data to a first data stream and the second data to a second data stream based on the first and second detected communication services; scheduling transfer of the first data stream and the second data stream based on the first classification parameter assigned to the first and second communication services; and scheduling transmission of the first data and the second data to the destination communication device based on the at least one second classification parameter assigned to the first and second communication services.

摘要: A method includes: a) provisioning, at a selected edge computing system, at least one latency critical application; b) determining, at a first base station, that an end user device is located proximate to an edge of the first cell and/or in an overlapping area of the first cell and a second cell of the wireless network; c) checking a degree of capacity utilization of the second cell; d) scheduling a handover of the end user device from the first cell to the second cell in case that the second cell has sufficient available capacity; e) transferring, before executing the handover, in real time a first note about the scheduled handover from a first scheduler associated with the first base station to the at least one latency critical application; and f) executing the handover.

摘要: A method for cell selection and/or cell reselection handling includes: performing, by a user equipment, a cell selection and/or cell reselection procedure wherein both a first radio cell and a second radio cell fulfill a cell selection criterion with the first radio cell being prioritized relative to the second radio cell; attempting, by the user equipment, to connect to a public land mobile network using a random access channel of a first base station entity, and failing to connect to the public land mobile network using the random access channel of the first base station entity; and performing, by the user equipment, a modified cell selection and/or cell reselection procedure, under unchanged radio conditions, whereby the user equipment attempts to connect to the public land mobile network using a random access channel of the second base station entity.
