摘要： A mop for dusting use having and an excellent washing resistance employing a special thick cotton folded yarn as mop-head piles, the folded yarn but having a loose twist just within a specific range of twist number calculated from the formulas exhibited in the instant specification and are mercerized under the specific conditions to be contracted over 10 to 30% of the original yarn length. The dimensional and configurational stabilization and fixation of the twisted form of folded yarn are the intended aim of the mercerizing treatment, which realize the retainment of the twisted form, pliability and free mobility of individual pile in mop-head, even though the mop is subjected to severe washing treatment repeatedly.

摘要： Disclosed is a connector for detachably and rotatably connecting one article to another article, which comprises an insert member to be attached to said one article and a receiving member having a space for insertion of said insert member, which is to be attached to said another member, wherein said insert member has an engaging annular peripheral portion having a void or hollow at the center thereof, a pair of spherical projections capable of elastic and reversional deformation are arranged in the insertion space of the receiving member to confront each other, and such a dimensional relation is established between the engaging annular peripheral portion and the spherical projections that the distance between apexes of the spherical projections is smaller than the thickness of the engaging annular peripheral portion and when said insert member is inserted into the receiving member, the engaging annular peripheral portion is rotatably gripped and supported by the peripheral parts of the paired spherical projections. This connector has a simple structure and is excellent in the stoutness and the adaptability to the operations of attaching two articles to each other and detaching them from each other. This connector is used especially suitably for detachably and rotatably connecting a mop handle and a mop supporting frame in a large-size floor cleaner.

摘要： An oil coater for mats which comprises a mat-supporting moving surface, a coating roller disposed above said mat-supporting moving surface and having on the periphery thereof a foam layer capable of being impregnated with an oiling composition, a press roller having a diameter smaller than the diameter of said coating roller and having on the periphery thereof a foam layer capable of being impregnated with an oiling composition, a first bearing mechanism which supports said press roller at a position upstream of said coating roller so that the top face of said press roller is substantially on the same horizontal plane with the top face of said coating roller and the degree of pressed contact between said coating roller and said press roller can be adjusted, a mat-feeding roller disposed below said mat-supporting moving surface, a second bearing mechanism which supports said feeding roller so that the axis of said feeding roller is substantially on the same vertical plane with the axis of said coating roller and the gap between said feeding roller and said coating roller can be adjusted, a pair of confronting dam plates arranged to form an oil reservoir on the surfaces of said coating roller and said press roller through seal portions above the contact position of said two rollers, an oil feed mechanism for supplying an oiling composition to said oil reservoir, a mechanism for controlling the level of the oiling composition in said oil reservoir and a driving mechanism for driving said coating roller and said feeding roller, wherein the amount of the oiling composition coated on the mat can be controlled by adjusting the degree of pressed contact between said coating roller and said press roller and the gap between said coating roller and said feeding roller.

摘要： A handy mop comprising in combination (A) a mop holder including a grip, an upper holding plate and a pair of lower holding rods, all of which are integrally molded from a plastic material, each of said upper holding plate and lower holding rods extending in the horizontal longitudinal direction and having a closed end and an open end, said upper holding plate having a substantially horizontal flat lower face, said lower holding rods being disposed so that they are spaced vertically from said upper holding plate by a small distance and laterally from each other in parallel to each other by a small distance, to thereby form a horizontal mop passage between the upper holding plate and the lower holding rods and a vertical mop passage between the pair of the lower holding rods a pair of projections being disposed in the vicinity of the closed ends of the pair of the lower holding rods so that they narrow said vertical passage, and a mop-fixing engaging piece mounted on said mop holder at the position outside the closed ends of said holding plate and rods; and (B) a mop head including a tube having openings at both ends thereof, extending in a longitudinal direction and being capable of receiving said holding rods in the state inserted therein, a plurality of pairs of mop cords disposed integrally with said tube and composed of twisted yarns extending outwardly over both the ends of the tube and in the transverse direction, and a pair of loop cords fixed to the open ends of said tube; wherein said mop is attached to said mop holder by inserting the open ends of the pair of said holding rods into said tubes, engaging the pair of said loop cords with said engaging piece, projecting outwardly the rows of the mop cords on one side through said horizontal passage and projecting outwardly the rows of the mop cords on the other side through the vertical passage.
