    摘要: Systems for detecting movement of a trailer having a rearward facing camera and linked to a tow vehicle. The systems include taking a first image and a second image with the camera and comparing the images. A first amount of trailer movement is determined between the second image and the first image. The systems may also take additional images and determine a second amount of trailer movement occurring between the additional images. Tracking the first amount and the second amount of trailer movement determines an amount of trailer sway. The determined trailer sway may be compared to a maximum allowable sway and, if the movement is greater than the maximum allowable sway, mitigating sway of the trailer with the tow vehicle.

    摘要: Methods and systems are provided for vehicle speed planning based on timing of traffic lights. In an exemplary embodiment, a disclosed system includes one or more sensors of a vehicle; a transceiver; and a processor. The one or more sensors are configured to obtain vehicle sensor data pertaining to operation of the vehicle. The transceiver is configured to obtain traffic light data with respect to a plurality of traffic lights along a path or roadway on which the vehicle is travelling. The processor is coupled to the one or more sensors and to the transceiver, and is configured to at least facilitate: determining a desired control of movement of the vehicle based on the vehicle sensor data, the traffic light data, and one or more optimization criteria pertaining to the vehicle; and taking a vehicle action based on the desired control of movement of the vehicle.

The diagnostic step module is configured to identify diagnostic steps of a service procedure to be performed to diagnose a root cause of a fault on a vehicle based on a diagnostic trouble code identifying the fault, and identify a cost associated with performing each of the diagnostic steps. The optimal diagnostic procedure module is configured to determine an order in which to perform the diagnostic steps that minimizes the cost of diagnosing the fault, and output an optimal diagnostic procedure that indicates the diagnostic steps and the order in which to perform the diagnostic steps.

    摘要: An electrified drivetrain for a vehicle includes a first electric machine, a second electric machine, a clutch, an HVAC compressor, and a controller. The second electric machine is rotatably coupled to a geartrain, the first electric machine is rotatably coupled to the HVAC compressor, and is rotatably couplable to the geartrain via the clutch, and the clutch is operative in a first state and a second state. The first electric machine is rotatably coupled to the geartrain when the clutch is controlled to the first state, and is decoupled from the geartrain when the clutch is controlled to the second state. The controller is operatively connected to the first and second electric machines, the clutch, and the HVAC compressor to control operation of the electrified drivetrain. The first electric machine can be used as a heater element and to provide mechanical power to the drivetrain.

    摘要: Methods and systems for a remote transportation system including a first autonomous vehicle, at least one second autonomous vehicle and a remote transportation server are provided. The server includes non-transitory computer readable media and one or more processors configured by programming instructions on the non-transitory computer readable media to: receive a request for tow service from the first vehicle, wherein the request includes a location of the first autonomous vehicle; identify a towing destination for the first autonomous vehicle based on the location of the first autonomous vehicle; perform an initial fault diagnosis to determine a towing type; confirm the towing type with the first autonomous vehicle to be at least one of a ground tow, an aerial tow, and a sensor kit tow; and coordinate towing of the first autonomous vehicle to the towing destination by the at least one second autonomous vehicle based on the towing type.
