    摘要: A power tool battery pack enclosure is configured to be retrofittedly coupled to battery pack receptacles of a plurality of power tools, each battery pack receptacle configured to removably receive a plurality of power tool battery packs. The enclosure includes a first clamshell member and a second clamshell member configured to be coupled around at least a portion of an exterior surface of each battery pack receptacle. Each of the first and second clamshell members have a top wall portion configured to be received over the exterior surface of the battery pack receptacle and a sidewall portion that extends downward from the top wall portion over at least a portion of the battery pack housing when the battery pack is received in the battery pack receptacle. The first and second enclosure members cover at least a portion of the battery back receptacle and at least a portion of the portion of a battery pack housing while allowing the battery pack to be removed from the battery pack receptacle while the enclosure remains coupled to the battery pack receptacle.

    摘要: The present disclosure describes a taping tool for taping gaps, seams, and/or joints between wallboard members that includes a simplified tape advance/actuation assembly. The taping tool has an elongate body portion with first and second ends, and a connected head portion that directs dispensed tape toward a joint between wallboard members. The tape advance/actuation assembly has a control member forming part of the tool's elongate body portion and a tape engagement member housed by the tool's head portion. The tape engagement member moves in substantial unison with and in response to movement of the control member. The tape engagement member engages or disengages the tape depending at least in part on the position and/or direction of movement of the control member. The extent of the engagement between the tape engagement member and the tape may be adjusted though manipulation of a single fastener.

    摘要: The present disclosure describes a taping tool for dispensing tape and mastic over gaps, seams, and/or joints between wallboard members that includes improved creaser wheel operation. The taping tool comprises an elongate body having first and second ends, and a creaser wheel pivotally mounted near the second end thereof for creasing dispensed tape. The creaser wheel is pivotable into a plurality of positions between a first position farthest away from the elongate body's first end and a second position nearest the elongate body's first end. The taping tool also includes an actuator for receiving user input indicative of a position of the creaser wheel desired by a user. In the absence of user input, the creaser wheel is configured to reside substantially in the first position. The creaser wheel is configured to pivot from the first position toward the second position in response to the receipt of user input.

At pump changeover, the output valve for that pump (12) is shut off and the air motor (12a) allowed to run until travel stops to account for cavitation, air entrainment, compressibility, or poor inlet check performance.

    摘要: A reciprocating type pump and method with an improved and customizable approach to varying axial pressure is provided. In one embodiment, a pump may be provided with a pump body, a piston reciprocally moveable within a bore of the pump body in response to a piston drive, and axially spaced apart packing means radially expansible in response to axial pressure exerted on the packing means. A packing nut is also provided, which is disposed at the end of the pump opposite the piston drive for adjustably exerting axial pressure on the packings. Springs may also be provided between the axially spaced apart packing means, which may be used for preloading the packing means and compensating for packing wear, swelling and/or dimensional instabilities.

A removable fluid insert may be placed in interchangeable (airspray and HVLP) spray heads with the fluid insert being either a pressure fed device which depends downwardly from the front end of the gun into a pressurized cup or via a connection to a pressurized fluid source or may have an upwardly directed insert which will take fluid from a gravity cup.     摘要: A method of calibrating and measuring volume flow through a gear-type flowmeter, having a magnetic sensor affixed to the flowmeter to detect incremental movement of the flowmeter teeth. The sensor is connected to an analog-to-digital converter and computer processor, which receives and stores samples of the sensor signals. The samples are compared with subsequently received samples to derive relative gear positions and to calculate volume flow based on the relative gear positions. The samples may also be analyzed and compared with previous samples to detect flowmeter wear and wobble conditions.
