摘要: Various techniques for managing caregiver burnout risk. One exemplary method includes receiving, over one or more electronic communication networks from a plurality of clinical data sources in a clinical environment, data associated with a caregiver having a plurality of patients. The method includes calculating, by one or more processors based on the data associated with the caregiver, at least one of a workload burnout risk score, an emotional burnout risk score, and physical burnout risk score for the caregiver. The method includes calculating, by the one or more processors based on at least one of the workload burnout risk score, the emotional burnout risk score, and the physical burnout risk score for the caregiver, a burnout risk score for the caregiver. The method includes determining, by the one or more processers, that the burnout risk score is greater than a threshold, and generating a report based on a determination that the burnout risk score is greater than the threshold.

摘要: A patient support apparatus includes a support surface including a topper. An opening is formed in a side of the support surface. A cavity extends from the opening into the support surface. An inlet port is positioned within the cavity and fluidly coupled to the topper. A pneumatic blower is configured to removably position within the cavity and has an outlet port that couples to the inlet port.

摘要: A patient support apparatus comprises a plurality of load cells, a frame supported on the load cells, a mattress, a plurality of air pressure sensors, and a control system. The mattress includes a plurality of inflatable zones positioned on the frame, the mattress and frame cooperating to direct any patient load through the mattress and frame to the load cells. Each of the plurality of air pressure sensors measures the pressure in a respective inflatable zone of the mattress. The control system includes a controller operable to receive a separate signal from each of the plurality of load cells and each of the plurality of air pressure sensors and process the signals to identify motion of the patient. A motion classifier assesses major and minor motions based on the amplitude and frequency of patient movement and determines a mobility score for the patient.

摘要: Systems, methods, beds, supports surfaces and machine readable medium for associating beds and support surface of a healthcare facility are disclosed. A surface association system for a healthcare facility may comprise a plurality of beds. The system may further comprise a computing device and a plurality of support surfaces to be placed upon beds of the plurality of beds. The computing device may associate a support surface of the plurality of support surfaces with a bed of the plurality of beds. The computing device may make the association based upon status data received from the plurality of beds and the plurality of support surfaces. The support surface and/or bed to be associated may initiate a surface association request. The computing device, in response to the surface association request, may request performance of one or more actions on the bed and/or support surface to be associated to identify the bed and/or support surface from the beds and support surfaces of the healthcare facility.

摘要: A patient control unit for controlling functions of a hospital bed includes a housing having a first side that includes a plurality of user inputs to control the functions of the hospital bed. The housing has a second side that includes a dock to secure a handheld phone in place on the housing. A hospital bed has a head-of-bed angle (HOBA) lockout selector that is used to signal a controller to prevent a head section of the bed from being moved below a threshold.
