    摘要: A white light emitting device comprises: an LED that generates excitation light of wavelength from 420 nm to 480 nm; and photoluminescence materials that generate light with a peak emission wavelength from 500 nm to 650 nm comprising a broadband phosphor, and a manganese-activated narrowband red fluoride phosphor with a peak emission wavelength from 628 nm to 640 nm and a full width at half maximum of less than 30 nm. The device generates white light with a selected color temperature from 2200K to 6500K, a General Color Rendering Index, CRI Ra, of at least 80, and a Duv (Delta u, v) from 0.0060 to 0.0170 for the selected color temperature and wherein the device has an LER (Luminous Efficacy of Radiation) of at least 320 lm/Wopt.

    摘要: Disclosed are improved photoluminescence wavelength conversion components and lamps that incorporate such components. The photoluminescence wavelength conversion component comprises a hollow cylindrical tube having a given bore of diameter and an axial length. The relative dimensions and shape of the component can affect the radial emission pattern of the component and are configured to give a required emission pattern (typically omnidirectional). The photoluminescence material can be homogeneously distributed throughout the volume of the component during manufacture of the component. An extrusion method can be used to form the improved photoluminescence wavelength conversion component. Injection molding or casting can also be used to form the component. Another possible approach is to manufacture the component is by forming a flexible sheet material to include the phosphor and/or quantum dots, and then rolling the sheet material into the desired shape and dimensions for the component. The improved wavelength conversion components and lamps that incorporate these components provide for improved emission characteristic, while allowing for relatively cost-effective manufacturing costs. A further advantage of components is that their light emission resembles a filament of a conventional incandescent light bulb.

    摘要: A light emitting device (LED-Filament) comprises: a light-transmissive substrate; at least one blue LED chip mounted on the light-transmissive substrate, for instance mounted on a face thereof; and a photoluminescence material at least partially covering the at least one blue LED chip. The photoluminescence material comprises narrow-band red phosphor particles that generates light with a peak emission wavelength in a range of 600 nm to 640 nm and a full width at half maximum emission intensity of 50 nm to 60 nm. The light emitting device is characterized by CRI Ra greater than or equal to about 90. The narrow-band red phosphor particles can comprise at least one Group IIA/IIB selenide sulfide-based phosphor material such as for example CaSe1-x Sx:Eu (CSS phosphor). The LED-filament can be incorporated in a lamp, with a yellow to green-emitting phosphor that generates light with a peak emission wavelength in a range of 520 nm to 570 nm, to provide light with a color temperature in a range of 1500 K to 4000 K or 1500 K to 6500 K and a General Color Rendering Index (CRI Ra) greater than or equal to about 90 and a CRI R9 greater than or equal to about 50.

The optical component having the diffusing and photoluminescent materials is mass produced separately from the LED assembly and can be selected such that light generated by the optical component combined with the light generated by the LED assembly corresponds to light of a selected color. Also disclosed are LED lighting arrangements, components for LED lighting arrangements and methods of fabricating an optical component.
