摘要: A method for manufacturing a hot press formed part, includes: preparing a hot press forming object comprising a single-ply portion and a two-ply portion; heating the hot press forming object to a temperature range from an Ac3 transformation temperature of a base steel sheet of the first coated steel sheet to 1000° C.; press forming the hot press forming object to obtain a formed body, the press forming being started upon temperatures of the single-ply portion and of the two-ply portion being no higher than solidification points of Zn—Ni coating layers of the first and second coated steel sheets and no lower than an Ar3 transformation temperature of the base steel sheet of the first coated steel sheet; and quenching the formed body to thereby obtain a hot press formed part, in which the hot press forming object has a thickness ratio from 1.4 to 5.0.

摘要: Provided is a high-strength seamless stainless steel pipe for oil country tubular goods which possesses a high strength, excellent low-temperature toughness and excellent corrosion resistance even when the steel pipe has a large wall thickness. The high-strength seamless stainless steel pipe has the composition which contains, by mass %, C: 0.05% or less, Si: 1.0% or less, Mn: 0.1 to 0.5%, P: 0.05% or less, S: less than 0.005%, Cr: more than 15.0% to 19.0% or less, Mo: more than 2.0% to 3.0% or less, Cu: 0.3 to 3.5%, Ni: 3.0% or more and less than 5.0%, W: 0.1 to 3.0%, Nb: 0.07 to 0.5%, V: 0.01 to 0.5%, Al: 0.001 to 0.1%, N: 0.010 to 0.100%, O: 0.01% or less, and Fe and unavoidable impurities as a balance. Nb, Ta, C, N and Cu satisfy a specified formula. The steel pipe has a microstructure which is formed of 45% or more of a tempered martensite phase, 20 to 40% of a ferrite phase, and more than 10% and 25% or less of a residual austenite phase in terms of volume ratio.

摘要: A method of producing a cold rolled steel strip includes: subjecting a steel strip that has been cold rolled and subsequently continuously annealed to pickling by continuously feeding the steel strip into a mixed acid solution containing a first acid that is oxidizing and a second acid that is non-oxidizing to immerse the steel strip; and subsequently subjecting the steel strip to repickling by continuously feeding the steel strip into an acid solution containing a third acid that is non-oxidizing to immerse the steel strip. The concentration of the first acid in the mixed acid solution is lowered and the concentration of the second acid in the mixed acid solution is raised as the iron ion concentration in the mixed acid solution rises.

摘要: An abrasion resistant steel plate having excellent low-temperature toughness and excellent cracking resistance in a portion which has been heated to a temperature range in which low-temperature temper embrittlement occurs and a method for manufacturing the steel plate. The steel plate includes a microstructure at positions located at ¼ of the thickness and at ¾ of the thickness including a martensite single phase microstructure having an average prior austenaite grain diameter in the range of 20 μm to 60 μm, or a mixed microstructure of martensite and bainite having a proportion of martensite-austenite constituent of less than 5% in terms of area ratio with respect to the whole microstructure.

摘要: A method includes press forming a metal sheet into an intermediate formed product bent out of a plane and forming into a desired press-formed component shape. In a region to be a flange portion, an angle to be bent out of the plane is equal to or less than an angle formed by the flange portion at the curved portion in the press-formed component shape. The projection portion has a largest projection height at the center portion in the longitudinal direction of the region to be the curved portion as seen in the side view, and a longitudinal length of a region to be the top sheet portion is set to coincide with or approach a longitudinal length of the top sheet portion in the press-formed component shape.
