The second side wall of the first deck panel is supported adjacent to the first side wall of the second deck panel such that the at least one first opening of the first deck panel is at least partially aligned with the at least one second opening of the second deck panel to define a through hole for the fastener. The fastener is received within the through hole and secures the first deck panel to the second deck panel.

摘要： An improved underlift assembly is provided for attachment to a vehicle. The improved underlift assembly comprises a support arm coupled to the vehicle. A base is coupled to an end of the support arm, a boom base is pivotally attached to the base at a first pivot point and a boom is pivotally attached to the boom base at a second pivot point. A first actuator is coupled to the support arm and the boom base. The operation of the first actuator pivots the boom base with respect to the support arm. A second actuator is coupled to the boom base and the boom. The operation of the second actuator pivots the boom with respect to the boom base. The first actuator is used to position the boom during lifting operation, and the second actuator is used to position the boom into a folded rest position.

摘要： A two car carrier truck employs an above-cab tilting platform for the support of one car in transit. A cable winch is located at the rear of this platform with a guide sheave for the cable at the front of the platform assuring a proper fleet angle for the cable being wound onto the winch drum even when the car is in a fully loaded position. Proper layering of the cable on the winch drum is assured and dangerous uneven piling up of the cable is eliminated. The overall length of the transport truck is reduced, driver vision is improved, and car loading time is reduced by placement of the winch closer to the operator's control panel at the rear of the truck. Oil leakage from the winch blowing back onto the truck windshield is eliminated. Proper layering of the cable on the winch drum is also assured for the tilting platform behind the truck cab when the winch is located at a medial portion of the platform a distance rearwardly from a guide sheave on the front thereof which assures a proper fleet angle for the cable relative to the winch drum.

摘要： The present invention is directed a tilt cylinder assembly for an underlift assembly for attachment to a recovery vehicle. The present invention provides for rotation of the horizontal member about a first and second pivot point. The first pivot point is where the lifters attach to the horizontal member. The second pivot point is formed by attaching a forward end of the horizontal member to a tilt cylinder assembly including at least one lifter. The tilt cylinder assembly lifter provides for movement of the second pivot point. By providing two pivot points, the operator of the underlift assembly is allowed more flexibility in positioning.

摘要： A safety chain storage pocket for use with a tow truck comprises a user access surface with a gull wing opening defining a chain access opening providing safety chain exit and storage from and to the pocket. A pair of slotted wings extend from the opening to provide a pair of chain locking positions. The opening has a lower surface providing free movement of the safety chain out of the pocket by allowing the weight of the chain to assist the user to pull the chain out of the pocket, and the chain access opening allows the user vertical access into the pocket to use the weight of the chain to store the chain in the pocket. The slotted wings extend proximate to the chain access opening to provide a locking position for said safety chain.
