Abstract: The method includes: the step of preparing a steel material and a work portion; the step of placing the steel material on the work portion; and the steps of obtaining the rolling bearing ring by heating the steel material on the work portion to a temperature equal to or higher than an A1 transformation point, thereafter punching a part of the steel material into a ring shape, and thereafter quenching the steel material in a ring shape on the work portion. In the step of obtaining the rolling bearing ring, heating and punching are performed in the state where oxidation of the steel material is suppressed, and in the state where tensile force is applied between the first portion and the second portion in the steel material.

Abstract: A tapered roller bearing includes an outer ring, an inner ring, a plurality of tapered rollers, and a holder. A nitrogen concentration in a surface layer portion under a contact surface is 0.3 mass % or more. The holder includes a small annular portion, a large annular portion, and a plurality of column portions. A pocket has a trapezoidal shape in which a portion housing a small diameter side of the tapered roller is located on a reduced width side while a portion housing a large diameter side of the tapered roller is located on an increased width side. Each of the column portions on the reduced width side of the pocket is provided with a cutout.

Abstract: There is prepared a formed body constituted of steel and having an outer circumferential surface having an annular groove having a bottom surface to serve as a raceway surface of the bearing ring. In the step of forming a heated region, the formed body is induction heated to form a heated region including the bottom surface of the groove and heated to a temperature of at least an A1 point. In the cooling step, the whole of the heated region is simultaneously cooled to a temperature of not more than an Ms point. The step of retaining the formed body in a state in which heating is stopped is performed after the step of forming a heated region before the step of cooling. In the step of retaining, dispersion in temperature in the heated region in the circumferential direction is suppressed to not more than 20° C.

Abstract: A control device controls an attitude control actuator by means of which a distal end member located on a link actuation device can be moved. A parallel linkage mechanism includes a proximal end-side link hub, a distal end-side link hub, and three linkages via which the distal end-side link hub is coupled to the proximal end-side link hub in such a manner that allows the attitude of the distal end-side link hub to change relative to the proximal end-side link hub. The control device includes a parameter switcher which switches control parameters to adjust the jerk of the attitude control actuator or the distal end member based on a load applied to the distal end member. The parameter switcher can switch more than one control parameter including at least one of the filter time constant of a moving average filter or a model following control gain.
