摘要: A molding assistance device includes: a data input section for inputting resin related data including reinforcing fiber data, and molding machine related data including at least screw data; a calculation expression data setting section in which solid phase rate calculation expression data are set, the solid phase rate calculation expression data being used for calculation of a solid phase rate of molten resin containing reinforcing fibers in a heating cylinder on the basis of input data inputted from the data input section and molding condition data set by a molding condition setting section; and a calculation processing functional section which includes at least a solid phase rate calculation processing section and a fiber state calculation processing section. The solid phase rate calculation processing section obtains an estimated solid phase rate of the reinforcing fiber-containing molten resin at the time of completion of metering by calculation processing based on the solid phase rate calculation expression data. The fiber state calculation processing section obtains an estimated breakage rate of the reinforcing fibers at the time of completion of metering.

摘要: In a mold clamping apparatus, a mold clamping mechanism is provided with a half nut, and a tie bar is provided with circumferential groove configured to meshed with the teeth of the half nut. A strong-force mold opening mechanism that opens molds at an initial stage of mold opening extends across a space separating a movable platen and the mold clamping mechanism and is connected to the movable platen and the mold clamping mechanism. The strong-force mold opening mechanism is set so as to have greater axial force and shorter stroke than those of a mold opening and closing mechanism. A control unit controls opening and closing of the half nut, controls the strong-force mold opening mechanism and controls the position of the half nut in such a way that the half nut is synchronized with the circumferential groove by the strong-force mold opening mechanism.

The mold-clamping mechanism 15 includes a cylindrical constraining mechanism 30. The constraining mechanism 30 has a magnet mechanism built therein. By causing a current to flow or not flow, the constraining mechanism 30 changes to an unconstrained state or to a constraining state. In the unconstrained state, the mold-clamping mechanism 15 is movable relative to a tie bar 19 and along the tie bar 19. In the constrained state, the mold-clamping mechanism 15 becomes unmovable relative to the tie bar 19. The magnet mechanism positions the mold-clamping mechanism at an arbitrary position over the tie bar.
