摘要: An optical deflector for deflecting a laser beam from a laser by rotating a polygon mirror uses a dynamic pressure pneumatic bearing as a radial bearing and a magnetic bearing as a thrust bearing. The deflector includes a hollow rotor rotatable integrally with the mirror, a stationary shaft received in said hollow rotor, a casing member accommodating the rotor and stationary shaft, and an annular rotor magnet assembly mounted on the outer periphery of the rotor. A first rotary magnet is mounted in an upper end portion of a rotary shaft and a first stationary magnet in an upper end portion of the stationary shaft in such a manner as to face each other with the same polarity, a repulsive force acting between the two magnets serving as a thrust magnetic bearing. A second stationary magnet is arranged to face the first rotary magnet with the same polarity. Further, a second rotary magnet is mounted in a lower end portion of the rotary shaft and a third stationary magnet in a lower end portion of the stationary shaft in such a manner as to face each other with the same polarity.

摘要: A display system includes an optical element through which light diverges and an imaging optical system configured to form an image by projecting diverging light diverging through the optical element. In the display system, the image formed by the imaging optical system is visually recognized by a viewer, and a condition in an equation tan 0≥(T×B)/(S×O) is satisfied, where θ denotes a divergence angle of the optical element, T denotes distance between the image forming optical system and the formed image, B denotes a range of an eye box that is an area through which the formed image can visually be recognized, S denotes distance between the formed image and a viewpoint of the viewer of the formed image, and O denotes distance between the optical element and the image forming optical system. In the above equation, each distance indicates length of an optical path that passes through a center of an image formed by the light when an object is observed from a reference eyepoint.

摘要: In accordance with some embodiment of the present invention, a liquid composition set is provided. The liquid composition set includes a first liquid composition and a second liquid composition. The first liquid composition comprises: a compound represented by general formula (1): where X and Y each independently represent a functional group, and at least one of X and Y represents an electron-withdrawing functional group; and an acidic substance. The second liquid composition comprises a compound having vinyl group or acryloyl group.

摘要: An image forming apparatus includes a heating device including a heater, a developing device, and an airflow generation device. The heater includes a base, a heat generator, an electrode portion, and conductive portions. The conductive portions are disposed on one side and another side in a longitudinal direction in a heat generation region and spaced apart in a lateral direction intersecting the longitudinal direction. A maximum total value among total values of squares of current flowing in the conductive portions at longitudinal positions on the one side is larger than that on said another side. The developing device includes a rotating member and sliding portions. A sliding portion having highest temperature in operation is disposed on one side of the developing device being same as the one side of the heater in the longitudinal direction. The airflow generation device generates an airflow toward the one side of the developing device.
