摘要: A computer-implemented method of detecting an anomalous action associated with a physical system includes developing, by a computing device a plurality of vectors, each vector indicative of an event that occurred at a specific time within the system, combining, with the computing device each vector that occurred within a predefined time duration into one of a plurality of master vectors, and performing, with the computing device a cluster analysis to group each master vector of the plurality of master vectors into one of a plurality of states. The method also includes determining, with the computing device a real-time master vector based at least in part on one or more events that occur within the predefined time duration, classifying, with the computing device the real-time master vector as a real-time state, and indicating that the real-time state is anomalous when the real-time state doesn't match one of the plurality of states.

摘要: A method of modulating a cooling supply in a gas turbine engine includes providing the engine comprising a compressor section and a turbine section and including a cooling flow circuit, the cooling flow circuit supplying a cooling air flow from a compressor cavity in the compressor section to a blade ring cavity in the turbine section, wherein the cooling flow circuit includes a main line with a full capacity valve, measuring a first pressure in the blade ring cavity, measuring a second pressure in the compressor cavity, adjusting, by a control system, the opening of the full capacity valve to control the cooling air flow through the main line in order to maintain a target pressure ratio, wherein the pressure ratio defined as a ratio of the first pressure to the second pressure. The method is performed in an ambient temperature operating range of the engine.

摘要: A turbogenerator includes a stator core defining a first end and a second end, a plurality of stator bars disposed within the stator core, each stator bar including a coolant flow path, and a parallel ring having a first segment and a second segment separate from the first segment. The parallel ring is coupled to the first end of the stator core and is arranged to electrically connect the plurality of stator bars and to fluidly connect the coolant flow paths of the plurality of stator bars. A tang includes a main chamber, a first coolant opening, a second coolant opening, and a distribution channel that fluidly interconnects the main chamber, the first coolant opening, and the second coolant opening. A first lead tube has a first lead end connected to the first coolant opening and a second lead end connected to the first segment, and a second lead tube separate from the first lead tube has a first lead end connected to the second coolant opening and a second lead end connected to the second segment. The plurality of stator bars, the parallel ring, the tang, the first lead tube, and the second lead tube cooperate to define a portion of a circuit and a portion of a cooling path.

摘要: A nondestructive method for a volumetric examination of a blade root of a turbine blade while the turbine blade is installed in a turbine shaft of a steam turbine includes attaching a bracket to the turbine blade, the bracket conforming to the geometry of the turbine blade, positioning an ultrasonic phased array probe within a slot formed in the bracket to enable the probe to translate along the geometry of the turbine blade to a desired position for generation of a scan of a portion of the blade root, generating a scan of the desired position by directing ultrasonic waves via the ultrasonic phased array probe, and capturing reflected ultrasonic waves by a receiver to generate the scan and comparing the scan to a reference scan of the blade root to determine defects within the blade root.

摘要: System for hydraulic fracturing is provided. The system may involve a mobile hydraulic fracturing subsystem including a variable frequency drive (VFD) (12) electrically coupled to a generator (50). An electric motor (14) is driven by VFD (12). Harmonic mitigation circuitry (16) is configured to mitigate harmonic distortion by VFD (12). A hydraulic pump (20) is driven by motor (14) to deliver a pressurized fracturing fluid. VFD (12), harmonic mitigation circuitry (16), motor (14) and hydraulic pump (20) may be arranged on a mobile platform (24) so that a subsystem so arranged can be transportable from one physical location to another. In some disclosed embodiments, the hydraulic fracturing subsystem may be fitted on mobile platform (24) having size and weight not subject to laws or regulations requiring a permit and/or accompaniment by an escort vehicle to travel on a public highway, such as public highways in the United States and/or Canada.
