    摘要: A torque adjusting hinge capable of easily and precisely controlling its frictional torque, being totally downsized and free from wear in its pivot pin. The hinge employs a cylindrical drive element is between the pivot pin and a sleeve-like bearing of a stationary wing and a sleeve-like bearing of a movable wing; a frictional element is disposed between a sleeve-like bearing of the stationary wing and a sleeve-like bearing of the movable wing; a swash plate-like surface formed in the cylindrical drive element is provided and abuts against a swash plate-like surface formed in the cylindrical friction element; and a nut threadably engaged with a threaded pin portion of the pivot pin when tightened, causes axial movement of the cylindrical drive element in a longitudinal direction of the pivot pin, whereby a controlled friction torque is produced between an outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical friction element and an inner peripheral surface of the sleeve-like bearing.

    摘要: Although a door locking handle assembly is small as a whole in thickness in construction, it permits, through its computerized personal management system, a large number of persons or users to have easily and quickly access to their instruments contained in a box provided with the door locking handle assembly. In this assembly, a combination lock (19), which is opened by turning each of a set of its specially marked dial discs (21) a given number of times to establish a unique combination of marks of the dial discs (21), is incorporated in a door handle (13) or in a base body (1). In operation, a locking member (24) of the assembly prevents the door handle (13) from being pulled out of the base body (1), and is driven to reach its unlocked position when the combination lock (19) is opened.

    摘要: A door handle assembly has an emergency-unlocking function, so that even in a condition in which a latch bar 2 of the assembly is locked on a front side of a door 4, it is possible for a user to unlock the assembly from a rear side of the door 4 within fail. A socket member 8 is pivoted to a socket-member casing 6 through a vertical pivot 9, the casing 6 being fixedly mounted on a stationary frame element 7. In the rear side of the casing 6, a manually-operated pedal 12 is pivoted to a pedal casing 11 through a first horizontal pivot 13, the pedal casing 11 being fixedly mounted on the frame element 7. A base-end portion of a holding rod 14 is pivoted to one end portion of the pedal 12 through a second horizontal pivot 15 to have a front-end surface of the rod 14 abutted on a stop portion 19 of the socket member 8, the stop portion 19 being disposed behind the pivot 9. The rod 14 is urged forward by a spring 20 contacting the pedal 12.
