摘要： A method, a system, and a computer program for recapturing electronic devices no longer of use to their owners. The method, which is implemented by the computer program, broadly comprises the steps of identifying at least one electronic device no longer of use to the device's owner by managing one or more identification parameters; matching the device with a recapture offer so as to incentivize the owner to donate or sell the device; notifying the device owner of the recapture offer; and acquiring the device from the owner to complete recapture of the device.
