    摘要: A self-ballasted fluorescent lamp capable of achieving a similar appearance to that of an electric light bulb for general illumination includes a base that is attached to a bottom end of a cover and a luminous tube that is supported at a top end of the cover. Electronic components forming a lighting circuit are mounted on a substrate. The substrate is formed to have such a width dimension that allows the substrate to be inserted into the base. The substrate is vertically disposed along a center axis of the base at a position offset from the center axis. Large electronic components are disposed on a first face of the substrate, which faces a large component area in the base formed by the offset substrate.

    摘要: There is provided a multi-ringed bulb including a plurality of ring bulbs in which a plurality of straight tube portions having an outside diameter of from 12 to 20 mm are connected to each other through bent portions on a same plane. Electrodes are provided hermetically at respective ends of outermost and innermost bulbs of the plurality of ring bulbs. A connection portion connects other adjacent ends of the outermost and innermost bulbs to each other so that the outermost and innermost bulbs communicate with each other, to form a single discharge path. A phosphor layer is formed on inner surfaces of at least the straight tube portions 5a of the inner and outer bulbs. The multi-ringed structure bulb is filled with discharge medium. The above-mentioned structure permits to provide a fluorescent lamp and a lighting apparatus, which have a small strain in the inner and outer bulbs, a high strength and an excellent luminous efficiency.

    摘要: A lamp voltage detecting section detects the lamp voltage of the high-pressure discharge lamp and transmits it to a current calculating section. A lamp current detecting section detects the lamp current of the high-pressure discharge lamp and transmits it to a differential amplification circuit. A target power value to be supplied to the high-pressure discharge lamp is input to the current calculating section from a target setting device. The current calculating section divides the target power value by the lamp voltage detected by the lamp voltage detecting section to calculate a target current value, and transmits the target current value to the differential amplification circuit. A control section controls the chopping operation of a semiconductor switch so as to make the target current value approximate to the lamp current value. A capacitor of a timer circuit is charged with a current correlating with the target power value simultaneously with the operation of the target power setting device, and discharging is executed when the high-pressure discharge lamp is turned off. When the operation is started, the target power setting device sets the target power value on the basis of the charging voltage of the capacitor, and allows the target power value to be varied in response to the duration of operations.

    摘要: A compact self-ballasted fluorescent lamp which is equivalent to a typical light bulb is provided. The self-ballasted fluorescent lamp includes a cover, a lighting circuit, an arc tube-a base and a globe and formed into a shape whose outline dimensions are nearly identical to the standard dimensions of a typical light bulb. The arc tube is comprised of a plurality of U-shaped bent bulbs which have an inner tube diameter ranging from 6 to 9 mm and arranged in parallel with one another. Having a bulb height ranging from 50 to 60 mm and a discharge path from 200 to 300 mm long, the arc tube is designed such that the total luminous flux is not less than 700 lm with a lamp efficiency of not less than 60 lm/W when the lamp is lit at the lamp power of 7 to 15 W. An envelope comprising the cover and the globe has a height ranging from 110 to 125 mm, including the height of the base.

    摘要: An electrolytic capacitor and a ballast choke of a lighting circuit, are disposed on a first face of a circuit board facing a base, and a one-package switch of the lighting circuit is disposed on a second face, facing a fluorescent lamp. The one-package switch comprises field effect transistors contained in a single package and serve as two inverter switches for driving the fluorescent lamp. The one-package switch is a generally rectangular SMD with dimensions of not more than 6 mm respectively in length and width and mounted on the second face of the circuit board by means of terminals of the one-package switch. The one-package switch enhances heat dissipation properties of the circuit, enables the reduction of its dimensions, and increases the mounting efficiency.

    摘要: A lighting device having a circuit board with a fine tube inserting opening, and electric parts, outputs high-frequency power to an emission bulb having a bent tube. A cover member has a cap on the one end side, and a holder on the other end side. A fine tube protruding from the end of the emission bulb, and having a bent portion on the middle portion thereof, is disposed so that the tip end portion from the bent portion is positioned close to the axis passing through the center of the cap as compared with the base portion from the bent portion on the side of the emission bulb. A principal amalgam is contained at a position on the cap side as to the position where the electric parts, which emit relatively a great quantity of heat, have been disposed. The bent portion is disposed on the side of the emission bulb as to the circuit board, and the tip end portion is inserted into the fine tube inserting opening, and is extended on the cap side. According to this simple structure, the light quantity rising property can be improved, and there can be provided a bulb-shaped fluorescent lamp excellent in assembling property.

A space region is formed inside the lamp mounting portion and is surrounded by the inner surface of the lamp mounting portion, the outer surface of the sealing portion, and the adhesive filled therebetween. The end of the space region on the side of the curved surface is open, and the space region prevents heat conduction between the lamp mounting portion and the sealing portion.
