摘要： A greenhouse having a roof, a floor, two end walls, and two side wall. Along one of the end or side walls an elongated mixing space is present next to an elongated space for conditioned air. The mixing space is fluidly connected to the exterior of the greenhouse and fluidly connected to a growing space by means of one or more openings. The mixing space and the space for conditioned air are fluidly connected via one or more water pads and via a parallel bypass flow path. The growing space comprises a multitude of parallel ventilation conduits, wherein each conduit has an air inlet that is fluidly connected to the space for conditioned air.

摘要： A process for conditioning the air within a greenhouse comprising transparent walls and a structure including one or more ridge beams as part of a roof of the greenhouse. The process comprises maintaining a pressure difference between an average pressure within the greenhouse and a pressure exterior to the greenhouse, taking in air from the exterior of the greenhouse and mixing this air with air taken from the interior of the greenhouse to obtain conditioned air, distributing the conditioned air via a forced flow to the interior of the greenhouse, and discharging a volume of air from the interior of the greenhouse via openings present in the one or more ridge beams such to maintain the pressure difference.

摘要： A process to grow plants in a greenhouse includes supplying cooled air to the interior of the greenhouse and supplying irrigation water to the plants. The cooled air is obtained by directly cooling air against evaporating water in one or more cooling pads where water flows downwardly via an open structure and in which open structure the air directly contacts the evaporating water to obtain cooled air and non-evaporated water. Part of the non-evaporated water is used as irrigation water and part is reused in the one or more cooling pads.

摘要： A process to reduce the temperature of a feed of air by (a) contacting the feed of air with liquid water, wherein part of the water evaporates to obtain air with a higher humidity and a reduced temperature. The air obtained in step (a) is contacted in step (b) with an aqueous hygroscopic solution to obtain air with a reduced humidity. In a step (c) the air obtained in step (b) is contacted with liquid water, wherein part of the water evaporates to obtain air with a reduced temperature as compared to the air obtained in step (a). In a step (d) the water diluted hygroscopic solution obtained in step (b) is concentrated and cooled to obtain a concentrated and cooled hygroscopic solution, with the solution being used as the aqueous hygroscopic solution or as part of the aqueous hygroscopic solution in step (b).
